The king of the drumming world. I grew up spending countless hours listening to Rush songs on MTV and Stereo Panama radio station from 1984- 1991. Rush came along at a time that wasn't ready to embrace their genius while embracing the genius of their contemporary rivals who were changing Music forever! Fly by night was well received but by the time Permanent Wave came around the world was digesting the loss of some Icons of music like Elvis, John Bonham, John Lennon ...etc. The radio was still pushing the 3 minute song with some notable exceptions so it would be a few years before alot of people gave them a long hard look! Then there they were nestled in the midst of the Rock and Roll Revolution Forever and a must have for party goers in the late 70's and early 80's. That is just from my own take on a time in my own life that was gifted with the best music of all time! Please don't hammer me with facts and dates as this is just my fond humble remembrances and opinion, Rush has been in my own collection since Fly By Night in 1974 !I loved the HOF induction and Concert! They didn't get much attention because they didn't allow the greedy music industry to tarnish their message of music. I could easily live without TV as long as I've got great music. If you ask anybody, most people will tell you that the number one greatest artist of all time is either The Beatles or Led Zeppelin. But they aren't. Rush is. Without getting into all the overwhelming reasons as to "why", all anybody has to do is listen to this one song. Just listen to it. The musicianship and songwriting blow anything else completely out of the water, and to this day, not a single person can compete with it. Rush stands alone. Period. They are THE greatest rock band to ever exist. It's just a shame that people wait until a death before they acknowledge how great an artist is.

The marching band and color guard at the high school I go to did a rush show a while back, and this year they're doing a mix of some new music that's beetlejuice themed, the spirit of radio from their rush show, and madness from their muse show. Most of the seniors did muse and some were there for rush, and I think it's really cool how they're choosing to do a bit of a throwback so the seniors can have fun this year despite the pandemic. I've only heard spirit of radio in marching band form before (I'm in the color guard) so this has been very fun to listen to and recognize most of the music. Awesome song!

Late 70s early 80s.. I was 16 in 1976 and this album and other Rush 8-tracks were there in those muggy days and summer nights.. One of the bands and songs playing in the background of our lives.. Even then I knew they were different.. I listen now and it brings me back there. . Sometimes I wish I was back there...

I was blessed to see these three men live at Blossom. Akron, Ohio, in 2010ish snakes and arrows tour. So much indesputible talent and just the absolute, most explosive concert I've ever been to. Sounds so great live, in fact it's so exact, their music sounds just as good as it does on the radio.. except better because its LOUDER

nothing wrong with expressing yourself in whatever manner fits you an soothes you... if you have such a vivid creative imagination to do that, that's not a bad thing nor is it not having a life, its better than sitting in front of a TV all day, and just the positive light energy you send out into the world when doing so is also helpful to all of the world, the more that do things out of love an passion, the more we will see this world change for the better... don't let anyone put your creativity down or just being negative, when its actually helping to heal this sick planet... I say kudos to you my fellow human brother...
