Cheers to Mike in this video, for finding his own way and doing something positive with his kids and himself that will influence them for the rest of their lives and forging a bond through music.

Seems like a good dude. Hope he's still alive and enjoying his time with them as the adults I'm sure they are by now.

I like this very much. Its inspiring and positive. I have been playing drums for 30 years and a Rush fan on and off for the same time. more so lately. Its great to see the dedication of these guys. I know what they feel like. Keeps us sane! No one should put this down...

The narrator is Suzie McNeil, who was a contestant on Rock Star INXS (CBS). Do a search on KZbin and you'll find her performance of Bohemian Rhapsody quite easily. Also, she is easy to Google and has her own web site.

nice, it's great to know their music reaches everywhere in the world! Keep rockin!

Great to see the dedication and enthusiasm of these guys. The best Rush tribute I have seen on KZbin is Caress of Steel. Great musicianship.

Great documentary! As a Rush Tribute Band ourselves - I wish we were around when this documentary was filmed. I would have loved for us to have a spot on it.

The fact that Rush is not in the Rock and Roll Hall of fame is fucking shameful.

These Tribute bands should play some more challenging songs, as well as their instrumentals, i would love to see a Rush Tribute Band playing YYZ, or La Villa Strangiato.

"geddy's singing, and playing bass, and triggering these keyboards (3 things), and i'm playing guitar, and triggering all these pedals, and singing sometimes (3 things), and neal is playing drums the way he plays drums (143 things....)"

i can't get over the guitars behind Alex. They appear to be the models he's used throughout his career, like the old tobacco burst 335 and the black 345 he pulled out sometimes i believe in the 78 tour. The rest must be his own personal collection. Or is that just a backdrop with any guitars on it for the show? I feel like i've seen him in front of those beauties before

This is an awesome video, but something makes me think the narrator would describe the problems of grocery shopping the same way lol. (rewatch and think that).

There is no doubt John Bonham and Neil Peart are the BEST drummers ever.

Never did understand the concept of a "tribute" band. Weird.
@kevlar90048 жыл бұрын
whom ever did the narration on this better do some research, Neil Peart does not ride a Harley Davidson between the live show's its a BMW R1150GS.......He never has rode a Harley Davidson, nothing against Hd's i own one. However if your going to do a documentary especially when your quoting one of Rush's member and how he travels between shows , May is suggest you get your facts straight , no harm no foul, just my take.Rush is and always have been the best band on the planet period end of report

Rush is a very technical band, you have to be a better than good musician just to sound similar. Most bands aren't even close. These are terrible.

Not even rush played it perfect every time you're a cover band what do you expect

Correct. Geddy said in an interview there are some songs they'll never play again because of the complexity involved on 'em.

It would be tolerable if the Freewill guy could sing or sounded even remotely like Geddy

@execatty Do I really care? No, I don't lose any sleep over it. Its just a natural reaction to people who act like morons. Either way, I would think the people in Ohio would care...The R&R hall of fame is subsidized with tax dollars, which means that who gets in shouldn't be based on the shitty choices of a few snotty elitists.
