The part where you mentioned not throwing a pity party hit me so hard - I needed to hear that. At 25 I feel like I’ve been triggered lately by childhood issues or just past events that creep up and I start feeling sorry for myself over, but you’re so right that it’s not a great mind space to get stuck in. It’s okay to acknowledge those feelings of course, but important not to dwell. It’s so much more empowering to choose to focus on the good and all the blessings you do have 💖 thank you sm for this reminder!!
