I really don´t mind the velcro. Rather, I´d guess that PD chose to use Velcro because it´s the most practical for this application. I prefer a working solution to a fancy one any day of the week.

Prefer the v1 still with the horizontal hook fields that makes aiming the velcro a little easier and allows the top flap to sit unevenly if you have an odd loadout. Would have preferred a small mag latch system instead of the velcro though...fingers crossed for that in v3.

In the v1 I fit my M5 and 2 small primes. So I would say yes. It expands quite a lot.

Yes! Surprisingly you can (the velcro expandability allows for this). But take note that this does push the limits of what else you can fit in the bag. Hope that helps! - Ed

Such a disappointing mechanism to what is otherwise an amazing bag. We Need Answers from peak design. Imagine Field Pouch with a small Mag Latch - That i would pay for - Ultimate Pouch for me.
