It hurt my heart so much to see the look of pain on your mom's face as she drove you to the hospital. I know that pain. She would do anything to take away your pain or trade places with you. She is just so lovely and caring. I send good vibes and hugs to you and hope you feel better soon.

You said “how much is one meant to take?” Having gone through all this myself I can certainly relate. Unfortunately such is the path for many people who are treated for cancer. I’ve never liked the terms fighting or battling cancer. Because I think it’s much more than a fight or a battle. You will surprise yourself at some time in the future when you look back and realize and appreciate just how much you had to endure and how you mustered the strength to get through it all. Having such a loving family, with you in person and online makes a tremendous difference. And while there is much emphasis on the patient experience, your family needs to be praised for all they do to support you.

So sorry you have had such difficulty after your surgical biopsies. I work at a cancer center in the U.S. I would have thought your doctors would have been more attentive to your bleeding and pain. Agree … whenever anyone I know has had surgery the attending physicians make sure they or their delegates are available for any possible post op complications even if it’s to a nurse / doctor calling from an A&E dept… at least that is our healthcare system in Australia 🇦🇺

Facts! I had cancer they were so attentive of my condition and needs. I went to UNC CHAPEL HILL CANCER HOSPITAL. They were the best. I feel so bad for her, the tears are uncontrollable. So sad! 😢

I found it so hard to watch you suffering so much, and can’t imagine how difficult the day was for your mum. I’m so glad the morphine and anti-sickness meds did their job, and you were able to go home to Matt the same day. I hope he had/has a lovely birthday (not sure how much delay there is with uploading this video) I do wonder how you manage to film and edit so much, but I guess it’s actually a distraction for you, and gives you a focus away from your health issues. I hope your meeting with your surgeon goes well, and that your bleeding soon stops.

I absolutely do not understand how she can vlog??? I’ve fought stage 4 cancer for 10:years, I been through so much. Ive relapsed 4x’s. I’ve been through years of chemo, I’ve had 2 bone marrow transplants, then graft vs host disease which is a rejection of my donors and my body began to attack its self literally to death. It attacked all my skin leaving me blistered like 3rd degree burns, attacked organs, my mouth and my teeth fell out. I had so many complications I can’t even list everything. I had nurses at the house around the clock. It also caused me to then get scleroderma and my whole body hardened as hard as a rock. Literally it was like I drank cement and it hardened inside of me. The anxiety was through the roof. I felt trapped inside my body. It Left me bedridden in diapers for 3 years. I’ve had hospital stays that were 100+ day. To sum it all up by the grace of god I’m still here today! My doctors are amazed. I’m still have a lot of health issues and permanently disabled and in a wheelchair but I’m here😊 But what I wanted to say is I can’t comprehend how she can vlog. There is absolutely so way I would or could do that. Maybe I was on a different level. But I know the way I felt I couldn’t even talk to people little lone film and then edit. Also personally feeling the way I did and what I was going through I didn’t want to publicly show it.

Tiffany, it’s really important for you to seek help as soon as possible, your surgeon should have been contacted for your bleeding that wasn’t stopping. Your health should be your FIRST priority, birthdays come and go and you can celebrate Matt’s birthday another day. He is a kind and loving man, he will understand that you are not well. Please be proactive in your cancer treatment, ask as many questions as you need so that you are well informed. I feel that you have waited a long time to hear about your surgery, so please ask detailed questions… I am glad you feel better now and you are able to spend time with Matt but always remember that the sooner you seek help, the less stress you and your mum will be. Don’t wait until the pain is un bearable, this is your journey and you need to make sure you decide what is right and what is wrong. I agree. She should never have had bleeding to begin with. They can stop the bleeding right after taking the tissue samples. Then the surgeon still does nothing for her even after she has told him she’s had days and days of heavy bleeding. She needs a new surgeon.

This is one problem in our NH S that needs to be sorted, the lack of beds and quick access to consultants are a serious problem. You’ve got this Tiff and don’t worry am sure Matt will understand. Get better first. Give our love 💕 and kisses to Your mum, she’s a star ⭐️

Sadly this is happening everywhere. I'm in Australia and there's shortages of paramedics, nursed, drs, beds etc

Many cancer specialist units will be in the same position, its really important unless someone has discussed with a CNS on an oncology red line (usually a card given to patients) or some other method of contacting their cancer unit that day to discuss their symptoms, they should go to an ED. Often specialist units will ask for their patients to be stabilised in an ED first, have cultures done etc as they don't want infections on units with other immune-suppressed people. However, they will endeavour to get their patients out of ED and on to the ward asap.

I had surgery on 12/22, 3 days after my birthday and a few days b4 Christmas. My doctor was concerned about my surgery being so close to Christmas. I told her I want to see many more 12/25, and surgery was scheduled. Make sure you drink 100% coconut water (not from concentrate).

Oh Tiffany this broke my heart. Your suffering reminds me so much of my poor mum. Also seeing your heart monitor, your heart racing, it honestly brings awful memories. I understand the feeling of guilt and anger for possibly ruining moments for the people you love, but always remember they love you very much and all they want is for you to be ok.
