How wonderful to see such good work ethics in young ladies today. The way explain how you process logs is very informative and I have learned a lot. Curious, you guys seem to have a lot of waste saw dust. Have you ever tried to turn it into wood pellets for pellet stoves. I like your passive solar kiln. This idea may also work for green house. During the 60's our Grandpa, who worked sawmills most of his life, had his last one in extra lot behind his house. It was the type with a round blade and a trundle that carried the logs through the blade. He had a big (to us) pit dug out under the saw for the sawdust to fall into and us dumbass kids would jump into the sawdust pile like it was a pool. Talk about scratchy and itchy afterwards!

Love watching your videos. A couple of suggestions, wear leather gloves to protect your hands. And all that sawdust could be turned into wood pellets pretty easily. Just another way to make some money, also it can be done inside when the weather doesn't cooperate. Just a thought. Thanks for the entertainment.

How often do you get splinters? If you put just a little bit of a downward slant on those two loading ramp boards, it might be easier to roll the logs onto the machine. Sort of like rolling them to the inexorable abysmal abattoir with the help of gravity. Love the music in this video.
