The multi-award-winning Ruskin Bond is probably India’s most prolific contemporary writer-given that he has been writing almost non-stop for over seven decades! Starting with his debut novel ‘The Room on the Roof’ and continuing with stories such as ‘The Blue Umbrella’, ‘Night Train at Deoli’, his wonderful verses, his insightful essays, his autobiographical book ‘Lone Fox Dancing’ and beyond, his books have delighted children and adults alike.
The core team on this project include director Jitendra D Patel, executive producer Siddharth Bond, editor Chinangshuk Chandra. Mayur Varma, Executive Creative Director at 82.5 Communications, is the series creative director. Durga Bangde and Priyank Bengali are the art director and designer respectively. Animesh Goswami plays a key role as social media consultant. Sankha Acharya is the social media executive.

I wrote a letter to him once in 2011 and send it to his address in Landour on the 4th April through speedpost. He, being the wonderful person he is, replied me by sending a letter to me through speedpost on the 16th of April, 2011. I was awestruck. I laminated the entire letter. It is priceless. 💫💫💫❤🙏

Ruskin bond books are great. It takes you through the lanes of dheradoon and mussoorie while you read on your desk in a urban jungle. It is always a pleasure to read a Ruskin bond book. Its like going on a vacation.

Mr Ruskin Bond is my inspiration, and the very first novelist I read. My father, when I was 5 taught me how to read, and later, at the age of 7, I was gifted my very first novel, Ruskin Bond's the hidden pool. At 10, I wrote a letter to him, at 11, I had my very own Ruskin bond collection. Now 14, I have read multiple novels, varying in genre, but Mr Ruskin Bond will always have a place in my heart. His novels have inspired me to write, and I have no idea where I would have ended up without that copy of 'hidden pool' I am overjoyed at your initiative of conducting this session. My favorite and first English author I ever read! Ranji and his friends and the notorious ghost shaped my childhood dreams! I want to meet him at least once in my life. Can you tell how you met him?
