The irony is that God made us in His Image, we are able to display the glory of our God and in a unique way than that of any of His other creations, in fact Isaiah 43:6-7 says we were created for His glory. The devil tries to tell us we can have the knowledge of the Elohim without YHWH ELOHIM, and therefore tries to get us to willingly separate or divorce ourselves from the one True God, but SECRETLY and SUBTLY the Devil and the Fallen angels want to have their way with us and make us Adulterous (read Jeremiah 2:23-5:19 on the unfaithful wife Israel) and usurp the authority of YHWH Elohim and make Humans in THEIR own Image, hence the Nephilim. And they force themselves upon us (craftily albeit) and they took the women as wives and they produced Nephilim, who are made in the Image of these fallen Sons of God and not in the image of the One true Creator of All Things.

Book of Enoch is not part of the bible. The authors of the Gospels are not one of the 12 apostles. The Gods of Old Testament (yes gods, eg Genesis has multiples & Exodus) are not the same as the holy trinity (God) of the New Testament. Old Testament God is vengeful murderous, commands genocide in Exodus and wants to be glorified and worshipped for vanity. To be clear Nephilim are not angels, they are some sort of unclean mixture of spiritual and material, either the decendents of fallen angels biologically or spiritually (this has always been the debate, the book of Enoch says its biological, other Jewish and Christian traditions agree but some interpret it as spiritual descendents). Nephilim means Giant and were described as the mighty men of renown, it doesn't necessarily mean literal giants but the other nations surrounding the Jews did consider their ancestor kings as both gods/partial gods and phisical giants. Genesis here does not dispute this claim but puts it in the proper context of these ancestor kings being aligned to evil spiritual beings.

I’m with you on all this. However I find Christians trip on satans words thinking they understand the trick. Like two verses before the serpent says “you will be like God” God says “let us make man in our image and -likeness-.” The lie seems obvious, but certainly clever. Eve had to believe she already wasn’t like God. We are creatures forever and God is the uncreated alpha and omega, but I do believe the EOC has it correct in St Athenasius, “God became man that man might become god.” It’s right there in John 17. I’ve read the Book of Enoch. I remain open to certain possibilities that are reflected in that book, yet there’s one ideology that is quite sketchy.
