As much as I love Deftones. I knew the crowd reaction was going to be negative. This is why metal is basically underground now. Hell, even rock isn't listened by much of todays youth. Everytime I see a car full of teenagers in it, its always rap. Always!

I agree, and ive found that this mainly happens with the teenagers who don't know much about music. However I know multiple teenagers who can play instruments, me being one of them, and we have completely different music tastes. It seems to depend on what is most fun to play. For me it's rock, for the drummers and bassists I know it's metal and for the singers it varies from rock to pop
