One of the most talented writers in the music industry. And also a great performer. He doesn't get the credit he deserves.

Such a great songwriter. The moment I heard "voices" on the radio in the 80s I went to find the cassette. Such a great tune the man can craft hit songs beyond a doubt. So many bands benefited from his talent. Nice to see this interview!

Fair play to him for speaking so hinestly. Not an easy subject to deal with, handled with grace

A man who wrote so many hits and never got paid correctly for all his multimillion dollar songs that he created. He also seems like a cool guy. Thanks Russ for giving me so many tunes that I got to enjoy growing up. Peace.. Joe

Have you heard the band he was in from the 60s? The Roulettes is the name of the band and they were great. They backed up singer Adam Faith, but also sang their own songs. I would suggest listening to "Bad Time" by the Roulettes if you've never heard it.

Always admired Russ' songs that KISS members covered.. I always thought Ace should cover Hold Your Head Up.
