Man I thought Russ would blow up way back when "What They Want" was released. After that it's been one great track released, after the next (and likely before that too). I listen to all genres of music, rock, pop, hip-hop, rap, metal, disco, world music...I may be just an older white guy, but I really like Russ' work, and thoughtful, original and well-crafted music goes beyond a genre. This rooms is a metaphor of his mind. The new reporters in the beginning is all the people online that trash him like NoJumper, Ak etc. The bars on the windows shows that he can get out of his own mind. His hands are tied behind his back because no matter what he says people will still trash him for no reason. Then the women in his life have to suffer from the mental abuse he gets from the online community because he can’t trust anyone. He tries his hardest to be good and honest but the abuse from people online has made him broken. You can see halfway through not only is he mental broken but physically beaten up by people online and his own thoughts. The thirst parts shows all the online hate for no reason. But at the end the only people who can free him from all the pain is himself. Love you Russ. No matter how many hatters out there you have, you have 10 times real fans.
