@arshaqtantu20629 ай бұрын
I think this stamps that Russ isn’t meant to be an 83 anymore and he shouldn’t be. His potential at 90-93 is just so much higher. He will leave the 83s before Joe Borenstein fills out the class and gives him a run.

I think he'd do some insane stuff at 93. Last time he only competed at 90 so he'd still have plenty of room to play with. But nobody will be close at 83. Dude just casually nuked the WR on a day where he was mostly knocking off meet day rust.

@@nextlevel8771not saying he still isn’t by far the best 83 but he’s going from hitting close to 780+ squat and 780+ deads in training to this. I just think it’s a waste for him to not be hitting those types of numbers in comp. If it’s the weight holding him back he should go up.

How so? Perk can only beat Russel's Bench and not by much.Perk on a great day goes 325/205/345 so 865, Russ on a good day goes 340/200/350.Not saying that Perkins isn't the better lifter - which he obviously is - but unless something goes horribly wrong for Russ he ain't totalling more than him.
