Watching from LA CA born and raised here. I love the way my people down there celebrate a home going for a loveone. We celebrate at the repass after the burial. My condolences to his family and friends

Com certeza o falecido é rico, pra família ter condições de pagar tudo isso e principalmente os que foram compor o teatro. Lá, como cá, pobre vai até sem caixão.

Im in Arkansas, only been to Nola once in Aug 2020 but absolutely fell head over heels with the culture, the people, the vibe, the architecture etc. Maybe because I’m originally a Memphis gal and the vibe kind of felt familiar I dunno. I envy the traditions like these celebrations of life when a person has passed on to bigger and better things. I mean as sad as the reality is, it would be hard not to feel an uplifting emotion that might even dampen out the sadness for a few minutes if this was the way we said goodbye every time. My condolences to his family and friends. It’s obvious he was cherished and will be missed dearly 💜💜
