I personally think Russel has done his best to help people with addiction.Has written a children’s book. Turned his life around and to be admired for sheer effort.His Mother is recovering from a horrendous accident with being in a car crash. He was interviewed and really was so dignified and compassionate. Hope his mother gets well soon .Her injuries were awful. Blessings all around. It is a harrowing ordeal. Russel Mam I hope you make a full recovery and the very best is wished for you. Russel thanked the medical staff and his words were heartfelt.

Engh. I don't know how much of it is the kid. I think it's a number of things. Even in old interviews you can find interviews like this one where he is much more low key and reserved. Usually it has to do with the fact that he's not in front of an audience and it's early in the morning. Same thing with old eps of the Trews. He genuinely turns into "Russel Brand" when he is, as he puts it, "showing off".

JazGalaxy I agree. I've noticed he certainly does get more hyped when in front of an audience, being interviewed etc.. But of course generally getting older will contribute towards his mellowing.
