+LucianoThePig Agreed. He was respectful and compassionate toward those who deserved it and critical of those who needed to be criticized. One of the people who is likely someone he looks up to in comedy is John Cleese, and he talked about the importance of humour. Approaching serious situations with humour is in no way a sign that you are not being respectful or taking the situation seriously. He believes that it is critical in serious situations for creative problem solving.

My favourite Good News yet. The France attacks were very tactfully and beautifully handled. I wish there were more comedians like Russell Howard. This is the only show my whole family would sit and watch together before both my sister and I moved overseas.

Russell handled the topic of the Paris attacks beautifully. Reminded us that it's alright to laugh in the face of tragedy, and did it without resorting to shock humor that mocked the victims. Instead he made fun of the people who did it, since they're the ones who deserved to be mocked. Definitely respect him a lot more for handling it this way.

Russell Howard is my favorite comedian. It was Eddie Murphy since his performance on Delirious and then came Russell Howard.. he makes me laugh every time. Russell Howard is intelligent, kind, hilarious & adorable. I love your comedy and your serious side. Thank you! I had the same expiriance I was cycling down a hill doing 20mph and a stag jumped into the road at me, and started running down the road next to me, I looked over and he winked at me overtook and jumped across me into a side field, was a great moment in my life.
