You felt he checked out a couple of years ago? Wow, you lead your team to a 12-4 division title, give your team 42 TDs, game winning drives and folks question whether you checked out or not. I understand why he decided to leave.

Yes the past two off seasons he/his camp have been vocal about him not being happy with the team,coaches and upper management(draft). Which is ok… just life etc BUT let’s not pretend his camp didn’t leak information to the press. Let’s not pretend he wasn’t looking to get out of Seattle because he clearly was. He didn’t leave Seattle because of the fans(all of which love him-including myself). He left because the grass is always greener somewhere else. Blame everyone BUT his fans, who have stuck by him through the good times and the bad.

Compare Russ to other QBs drafted higher and Russ gave Seattle MORE than they gave their franchises. How did it work out in Indy (Luck), Houston (Watson), DC (RGIII), Cleveland (Couch, Quinn, Weekend, Manziel and Mayfield), Atlanta (Vick), Chicago (Trubisky), Carolina (Cam), Philly (Wentz), Oakland (Carr), SF (Smith and Kaepernick), Oakland (Palmer), Cincy (Dalton), Jacksonville (Bortles), St. Louis (Goff), Denver (Tebow, Plummer, Lock or Osweiller) or SD (Rivers)? NONE of them gave their franchises a title, 90 percent winning seasons, and service 99.9 percent of the time without ever being unprofessional. Russell Wilson owes NO ONE a explanation for his business decision. Did the Supersonics gives Seattle ba explanation?
