Survivor One World 2: One Beach, no tribes, each challenge you draw rocks to pick teams for challenge and you go to tribal with those people when you lose. So each week you’ll have new groups going to tribal so your social game with all 18-20 castaways would be of the utmost important.

You might have to open the first boot window a little bit to get enough for a cast. But I like the idea. It sounds like the only possible theme that would give Courtney Moon the chance to actually play the game after her unfortunate medevac during the first challenge.

Well see here's my problem with this. So many of the first boots were either the worst players in the game's history, like Zane or even Ben Browning, if it's not literally just last place, or the oldest players in the cast, making it full of unlikeable and unathletic players. They'd lose every challenge, decimating their tribe. On top of that, the medevacs might not play as hard during challenges. I know that if I, say, broke my leg on a beam, I would be much more likely to be more wary around all the beams. They would be at an obvious disadvantage as well, given that some of the medevacs were also very old, like Borassi from WA. Then, you have these people put up against some of the best players to ever play the game? Imagine a tribe full of Bens, BB's, Chickens, and Wendy Jo's, a team of Borassis, Joes, Coltons, and Courtneys (even though Caleb would be pretty good), put up against a team full of legendary players like Boston Rob. It just wouldn't be fair, the boots and evacs would be decimated early, and even if they made it to the end, they wouldn't have much going for them.

Hey Russell! So many great ideas, it's hard to pick a favorite. I have one to add to the list. "Secret Ally" Two groups of 10 survivors, but each player has a secret partner in the other tribe. If your partner wins the season, you get 1/4 of the prize money. Anyway, my #1 wish for survivor is to have you back on it, but now I'm thinking maybe we need you on staff there with your ideas so we can make Survivor great again! ;)

Survivor Challenge Beasts: The players with some of the best challenge records of all time like Joe Anglim, Ozzy, Malcolm, Terry Deitz, Spencer, Tasha, Laura M, etc. Weak players tend to be voted out early in the game and challenge Beasts tend to be voted out early after the merge because they are physical threats. This puts them all on an even playing field. There are no weak players and everyone is a strong so no one is a "physical threat"

I was thinking of a whole season of people who’ve never watched the show, or who watched the classic seasons in the early 00s but only dimly remember them, and didn’t realize the show’s still on. These days you get too many super fans. I dare say the reason there have been so many all star tribes lately is just to give us a break from the tedium of it all. Each season all but a few contestants have the playbook memorized, and those who don’t go out early. Whenever they encounter a situation that’s come up before, they remember what the first person to navigate it successfully did and don’t even consider trying anything else. If it weren’t for the ever more zany Twists!, the show would have all the drama and intrigue of a game between two chess computers. Bring in people who don’t have an encyclopedic knowledge of every little thing that’s ever happened and you’ll see innovation return to the show. Who knows, they might even find a novel solution to a problem that flies in the face of conventional wisdom. Might there be more than one way to skin a cat?

I think second chance is more than ok ..we have many good players in the last 5 seasons ( after Game Changers) the problem with Legends is that u may ignore those new players because we haven't seen a lot from them as we watched them once only, so we would be stuck with only old players who made a legacy by playing the game twice or more.

Hot Take: For some players, poor showings in subsequent seasons does not remove Legend status. Rupert Boneham is still a legend despite being first one out in BvW, Ciera Eastin is still a legend despite her poor showing in GC, Johnny Fairplay is still a legend, heck even YOU are a legend despite your performance in RI and Aus and I don't think that could ever change, no matter what. Would love to see you do a video reacting to some comments like this in the future!

Four Island Survivor. Each Island has 2 tribes that are a mix of these ideas. One Island has first outs. One island has fan favorites, legends on one, heroes and villains on another... etc mix it up and have 4 themes that eventually merge into 2 tribes and then down to one etc. The final ten or twelve earn their right to got to Champion island. Played in a bracket style is a cool idea, Russell. People identify with sports brackets and round Robin's.

I have a great idea for a twist. Every person is given a buddy on the other tribe. Every day you get 1 hour to talk to your buddy about anything you want to. If your buddy gets voted off, then you spend the hour back at camp. Once a swap happens(after the first 5-6 votes), the buddy system ends and people will have to decide if they want to stick with their buddy or their original tribe. This twist would be for a 20 person newbie season with NO preexisting relationships

A legends season, another heroes vs villains, a real favorites season where the public votes, duos season with people who went far together, challenge beasts season, non winners finals returnees, disguise spy season - legends are all disguised with make up and special effects so they dont know eachother are there, spy season - island is outfitted with tons of spy gear and areas for tony, second chance first out - people with a lot of potential who got voted out early or had bad luck, newbies only - people who have never seen the show, worst players ever (coach, philip, etc), himalayans, arabian desert, social media votes tribal council - the public influences the vote every three days, triple the idols in play hidden at all times

Being that I am from Canada I have always thought that Canada would make a great place to host a season of Survivor...whether it is American or a new Canadian survivor. Your suggestions for a "cold season" would work here and you wouldn't really need it to be like in the snow and ice and all that. Summertime here isn't like it is in the tropics, but glacial lakes and ocean currents would highlight a really unique atmosphere to host the game in while still being warm enough for cast members to be able to wear bathing suits through certain times of the summer. Furthermore, the rich Native American heritage that Canada has would be great for the construction of tribal council, idols, tribe names, and so on and so forth. I think that would be a really unique and interesting idea that they could bring to the table to not only show a great new season of Survivor but also to pay respect to the Canadians who love the show so much and have made it the most viewed reality tv show in Canada for 2 decades.

As others mentioned; one tribe individual play, from the beginning. My other idea; this would be for two tribe play. Camp: There is a shipping container that represents the 'crashed vehicle'...plane/boat...that contains everything they will have to survive. (Rice and water provided like now.) As in any survival event; many items have multi-purpose. Hide some important item's in 'luggage/etc". Both tribes get the same items...the containers are identical. Have three or four items that can be built/configured into something "Important". Have several items that can be utilized in different ways...you get the picture. One of the "Challenges" would be having a Military Ranger or other survival expert come and evaluate and score each tribe's utilization of the container and items on say, Day 10 or so. Of course the players would not know of this challenge before hand.....Jeff and expert walk up one day.......

Survivor/Mole could be fun, like Survivor that focuses on intelligence, where one advantage in the game is someone can find out who has any of the other advantages from the other tribe. Perhaps where there is an member on each tribe, with lots of behind the scenes added in... can’t win the entire game but has a certain other goal, someone who gets fed intel in secret, and can chat with the other tribe’s mole, maybe fed food in secret too. and/or can chat with the jury while still in the game.

They shouldn't do a "back to basics", they should just catch the players off guard. Have seasons with no advantages and do some with a bunch of advantages, don't let the players go into the game feeling prepared. Also, runner-ups is dumb. They should just bring back the best non-winners if some legendary winners won't play. Well known players like Jerrie, Cirie, Rob Cesternino, wouldn't qualify for a runner up season.

Like when you fly out to LA or whatever right before you fly to Fiji, What happens before you start the first day, what happens before and after the challenges, tribal, what happens after you get voted off, what happens before and after the reunion and live show, idk something like that I feel like it would be a great video for fans who'd love to be on the show but... Won't get casted, or just fans who wanna know what we don't see. But great job Russell!! Ive recently been watching all your videos and I really enjoy the non edits and just the raw first take. Survivor: Secret Alliances - People apply to be on this season in pairs, family members, friends, couples etc, but the players don't know who anyone else's secret alliance partner is. This will create an extra level of mistrust, deception and gameplay. Players pick tribal buffs at random to keep some pairs together, and some separate. Or there could be a school yard pick so that some players could choose their partner to be on the same tribe as them if they wanted.

My idea was Survivor: Frozen Tundra (Anchorage) all in Alaska and have some Iditarod themed idols and indigenous themed challenges. And I’d bring back the Auction. Everybody tuned in for the auction. Another great idea I had for a season was Chernobyl. No place on earth symbolizes survival like the very site of the worst nuclear disaster in history. It’s now safe for human health there and completely abandoned territory. A concept that could bring in wild promotions and publicity and spark lots of talk on on social media. It could revive the passion and the quality of Survivor and help regain some of the lost viewers after the season 41 BS.

I like your schoolyard idea but I would go a little furthur. I would reach out to every contestant and see who was willing to play again. Of those that are willing let America vote in rounds on people to play to narrow the group down. If they need people to watch then let america vote but more so than secound chances where it was a limited selection

I got 3 dream seasons I would love to see played out. First: Survivor: Idoled Vs Titled Vs Tribaled 18 Players - 3 Tribes Of 6 Players Idoled : Players that were voted out because of the use of an idol, or holding an idol. Titled : Players that never won either to jury votes or getting voted out but are considered legends or best to ever play. Tribaled : Players who were screwed from a random tribe swap or tribal ceremony rock draw or fire making challenge. This would be a redemption type season to really see how much luck is involved with Survivor given that due to situations outside of practically all players were out of their hands. Second: Survivor: Double Agents 20 Players - 2 Tribes Of 10 Players 2 tribes start the game as normal, but starting with reward challenges, the men or women on each tribe will swap sides (depending on order). For example, Tribe A and Tribe B swap men at the challenge. Whoever wins (under the tribe who won for example Tribe A) gets to swap out 2 men from the other tribe to their tribe, sending 2 of their actual tribe members that were sent to the losing tribe to play the reward challenge who lost the reward over to them (ex. Tribe A sends their males to Tribe B and vice versa; Tribe A wins, they get back their Tribe A members they want and pick 2 from Tribe B; whatever is left goes to Tribe B). Then once immunity comes around, the men and women will play for immunity (Tribe A vs Tribe B). Let’s say Tribe A’s males win immunity and Tribe B’s females win immunity. That means Tribe A’s females and Tribe B’s males will go to tribal and vote out someone. Then when it’s done, they stay like that until next reward challenge giving them time to talk with people and form strategy. Once the next reward challenge comes, the tribes revert back to what they were pre last immunity challenge and this time instead of swapping males, swap females. And repeat. Reason for doing this is that it completely exposes agency in the game for players making them have to play a solo game because alliances are designed in this twist to be frail and not consistent considering you’re getting to have to swap so early on. After about 4 vote outs do another shuffle by your normal swap or something to reset the twist. But by that point, everyone would have at least gotten to play with other people from an opposing tribe. The gameplay I imagine with this would be people throwing comps to deliberately vote out big targets or maybe snakes in the grass type of players. Third: Survivor: No Limitations 20 Players - 4 Tribes Of 5 Players Similar to One World, the tribes would live on a beach together. The twist is, 2 at a time. Meaning Tribe A and C for example share a beach. And Tribe B and D share a beach. The no limitations idea is that since you live on the same beach, you go into reward challenges together. Immunity’s however will be played like Tribe A vs C and Tribe B vs D. So the tribes work for rewards together but play against each other for the immunities. The losing tribes at the immunity challenge have to decide one person from their tribes to keep safe at camp. The rest go to tribal and vote out 1 person. I’d find it super interesting if Tribes were split into 4 tribes and they had to live two to a beach. I would want to see if they would pull together or count on throwing comps to target other tribes. Like if tribe C lives on tribe a’s beach but they wanted someone out on tribe D, they have to make sure they lose and tribe d loses to go to tribal to vote out their target.

Survivor Rivals- for this season have tribe of people who had beef/fights during their season. For this season I would want redemption island with peoples rivals rooting against each other. I think that would be great.
