Richard Curtis wrote an excellent episode of doctor who, Vincent and the Doctor it was called, it shows that suicide is deeper than what it is. One of my favourites from DW

because he is often meeting people he truly respects and has high opinions of. it's very courteous and quite flattering I'm sure. The people he interviews imho are genuinely amazing people, and not just the latest pop star/youtuber crap you see on other shows. It's one of the things that makes him so great.

He has done so much great stuff but, for me, Black Adder is the best he's done. It's how I know his name. WTF, his dad was Italian? No way, Curtis looks sooo English/British.

Why does everything have to be about gender? :L Why can't we just enjoy people for their talents and skills as opposed to "Yeah but he couldn't even mention more than one woman" Gender should't be relevant.
@frolickinglions5 жыл бұрын
@@TheCyanideMonster When women are constantly thwarted, due to their gender, in their attempts to progress their career then gender is relevant. Women often have to fight hard to be thought half as good as a man, even when the men aren't that talented. I'm sure there are many talented female comedians in the UK but that's not represented by that lineup and that's a shame.
@TheCyanideMonster5 жыл бұрын
@frolickinglions I mean... I just outright don't agree with that stance tbh. I respect your opinion and your right to have it, but I just don't think that's the case in this day and age anymore honestly.

Without Rowan Atkinson he would be totally average. 4 Weddings and The Boat that Rocked were disastrous and he did a poor job with Yesterday (He didn't write it). His girlfriend is Emma Fraud or Freud and that's how these types stay popular.. raises money for Big Bro Co Comic Relief.. I rest my case M'lord

@@deedee-tc4fh "In Barth's script, a "meditation on professional disappointment", Jack did not find success with the Beatles songs. , a Working Title producer mentioned the screenplay to the British filmmaker Richard Curtis, who bought it and rewrote it as a romantic comedy.[6] On Curtis's insistence,[6] the screenplay is credited to Curtis and the story credited to Curtis and Barth. Curtis told interviewers he did not read Barth's script, preferring to use the premise to write his own version."
