I'm a 90's kid. Dizzee was one of the first grime artists I listened to. His music was everywhere! Glad he's back, new stuff sounds sick

Dizzee was the first artist I really go into outside of rock/metal. Was bought up on things like Metallica, Maiden, slayer, along with some classic music. Never really got on with rap, pop ect, but when I first heard "love this town" I had it on repeat for a day after because I just couldn't get the rhythm out of my head. Then started to listen to more of DR, and I've found various other artists over the years, and broadend my musicial tastes

@@conanw1645 but black music started rock music which is a derivative of heavy metal music so once you know that history it's not really a suprise that rapper's like heavy metal look at run d MC their music heavily influenced by heavy metal and rock type music and that was like in the 70s. Even today many hip hop and rap tunes have pure heavy metal beats rap and hip hop is a freind of all genres of music I know this because I'm a avid hip hop and rap fan that is my type of music.

Damn! Grew with the hype of grime as a teen during school days. Channel U and that shit. British Grime was at its finiest in the 00s. That game on ps2 fifa street, stand up tall is a classic.
