Thank you very much for doing the review. What’s the accuracy like? I watched a review of a different make to the Triton and the reviewer remarked that the table could not be sett to an accurate 90 degrees to the belt sander, and also the sanded edge was slightly bellied amongst other things. I would like a belt bobbin sander combination but accuracy is important to me. Thanks again.
@RussellPlatten5 жыл бұрын
If you look at 5:00 you can see me check the spindle. I have no issues with mine. Others have mentioned issues with theirs. I went into the garage before replying to you and checked it again. It was very slightly out, about 1 degree, but I was able to correct it by giving the moving part of the table a tap upwards. The belt was vertical at both ends. I found no movement inwards at the centre bottom (with my finger resting on the table pressing on the belt in the middle between the two rollers). However at the top of the belt in the centre there was a couple of millimetres movement, I suspect that this is caused by the tracking mechanism. I would say that it is not perfectly accurate, but is is certainly fine for my needs. I hope this helps. :-)
