Cannot allow Putin to win? Kind of slow hand thinking if you ask me. We lost in Vietnam; and Afghanistan and we are so arrogant to believe that if we can't win, no one can. I was there. The people did not want us in their country. They were tired and beaten down by war. We went thinking that we were freeing them, but low and behold, the money barons and politics wanted us there no matter the cost. Many of US made it and many did not. I feel heavily for the brave soldiers on both sides, and I pray that someone has the compassion to stop this unwinnable Ukraine war. Negotiate with Putin and give them what they request. Real, human lives are at stake, and no one wants to defend other countries, especially when we can't defend our own.

Im,a Ukrainian immigrant to America and USED TO BE INSIDE TORETSK (a few years back) so,im,very familiar with Toretsk. It was definitely a stronghold of Ukraine because it was heavily guarded on the bases i visited. I remember every morning and every night heavy shellimg was happening from both sides very close to the orphanage i was staying at. The tax payers of Poland are paying a tremendous amount not only in terms of arms and equipment but also sustaining Ukrainian immgrants who get preferential treatment in healthcare. Our country is in a huge predicament after losing eastern Ukraine,. Blinken not agreeing to the deal with Russia in March of 2022 may have been the greatest catastrophic all-time diplomatic failure, because it marked the end of the USA. There could have been cooperative agreements between Russia, Ukraine, Germany and the USA, which were IDEAL for capitalist expansion of all involved. It was the opportunity of a lifetime, for enduring peace and prosperity for all involved. That's water under the bridge now, so because we don't have any other chance to survive, the USA has to expand by other means. Unfortunately, taking Afghanistan back is where we'd have to begin. But we don't have the military power to do it, and it would cost a sickening amount of lives.

Kinda weird that with all the advances in technology in the last 100 years we are back to square one... anything spotted by artillery observation devices gets blasted, not safe for aircraft to travel over the front lines.. and we are not sure how to deploy tanks since if the drones see them they get turned into junk as well. Armies attack on broad fronts and measure their progress in meters, not kilometers. I dont think any western army is ready for a confrontation with Russia, fingers crossed that never happens cos I think the best we can hope for is a draw.. and if thats the case, whats the point??
