US inflation appears to be moderating, the US economy is chugging along (tenuously), China is in the dumps and the crowd is all-in on equities. And yet, here we are in silver (and gold). I'd say that's impressive. In commodities trading, it's always one step at a time; so the real problem is over-anticipation, as well as unrealistic short-term price forecasts. You may well fail before you succeed, assuming you survive to succeed. So many can talk but very few can "bring home the bacon" ... Always find your content interesting...

When do you think a better time to buy silver will be?

@@ResourceTalks One thing I'll watch for is gold topping out for a while and buyers reconsidering and thinking how cheap silver looks in comparison. The gold to silver ratio is already near the historical top. Another is serious pull back in Real state and more buyers looking for alternatives, which I think is coming because all levels of govt are going broke and turning to taxing whatever they can get it, with big equity in RE just sitting there as a tempting target (+ spiralling insurance and maintenance costs, and stagnant incomes relative to rises in cost of living). I also expect yields to pick up again as inflation comes back so bond prices falling will push some to exit bonds.

Thank you for the extensive overview, Rob. Do you think real estate investors are the type of people to go for a non-yielding asset, though? I understand the hard asset argument, but yields matter more to most people, in my experience.

@@ResourceTalks I expect shtf, so I see yields becoming less important as it bites. Silver, with a global market cap of about a trillion only needs to attract a tiny fraction of an RE selloff (cap probably 300 T) to make a big move.

Nobody can predict this…past 20 years I heard so many analysts being wrong. David told 10 years ago silver was not going lower then 27 usd…we saw 12 usd low in 2020. In 2011 analysts said silver would never drop below 50 usd again because all previous buyers of previous peak of 80s were dead…most manipulated metal on earth, I guess only JPM will decide the price:)))

You're right. Commodity price predictions, especially when coupled with a timeline stuck to them are nearly impossible.

@@ResourceTalkslong term holders of a PM better hold Gold instead of silver, thats the lesson I took. Peak of gold in 2011 was 1980 usd and silver was 48 usd. Why to waste yr time on silver…it might spike one day 3x indeed but the timeline nobody can guess. If low was 12 usd 3x = 36 usd, 4x = back 48 usd…why most silver miners added gold to their mix you think…PAAS or WPM f.e….look at how First Majestics and MAG are struggling. Silver only hit 48 usd in 40 years, how can you time this?

If i see an multi-hour podcast i usually skip. Quite the investment.... if those same interviews were split into 4 parts an investment of 30mins at a time does feel much more reasonable.... Just my two cents, love your efforts Antonio

Ounces in the ground doesn’t make sense now because we don’t look at it that way and Rick Rule and others who we have learned from don’t look at it that way. But later investors will probably look at ounces/pounds in the ground as real because if the price rises, hard enough, everything will look like it will be on the path to being profitable, no matter what

Mr Morgan has been saying silver is going to the moon since Neil Armstrong walked there. I bought silver because it's cool to hold and look at, and makes you feel wealthy. You heard of click bait - a bar of silver is chick bait. If I had bought it as an investment Id be hroke by now.

Be certain about this; Silver will go higher soon. Eventually, most likely early next year, this will be a general market crash. Silver will most likely be $38 by then. If you were to sell near the market top before the crash, you will be able to buy back in at far lower prices, currently predicted to be about $22 during the crash low. 3 months later it will be back above $30 and then going up from there to $50 a year later.
