I think you need to do a little historical research. You do realize the Germans actually gained steam in the winter ? The problem with invading Russia is the logistics. Germany was already over 700k casualties and low in supplies by November 1941, before winter even set in. In other words, the further an enemy goes into Russia the thinner the supply lines get. That’s the main reason , not winter.
