Obviously from an American point of view. Which up to now has proven to be very wrong to the point of arrogance. How the hell anyone can try & say the attack on the beach wasn't a terrorist attack for one is delusional. There was 3 attacks all happened at the very same time. He knows fine well that 2 of them were deliberate calculated events. Yet on a religious holiday when the beaches were packed. They were hit, not during the night but at the peak time to cause as many deaths as possible. I will emphasize it was a holiday. The equivalent of Miami Beach being hit on July 4th. This at the very time as 2 other terrorist attacks. Common sense says this was done on purpose. The Russian foreign minister made it obvious they believe it was done on purpose also. Stating Russia wasn't in a state of peace with America anymore. Whoever is taking these decisions in the West, has no morals, they're war criminals & their only objective is to kill civilians. Ukraine is always crying out for mire weapons. Yet they've always got plenty to attack civilian targets. Which they do massively every single day. To try & say the Russian air defences are only good. Must mean the Patriot system is truly pathetic. As it doesn't stop anything, the only way any Ukrainian missiles get through Russian air defences is because most of the Russian AD systems are protecting military targets. How come no missiles are hitting the Russian military targets? Because Russian AD is the best in the world.

I fail to see how Russia going in to Ukraine was a tremendous tactical and strategic mistake. The west had pumped up Ukraine to be the best army in Europe, and had to go in with less troops because it was a surprise then. Ukraine was a clear and present danger plus was intentional provoking Russia by mistreating ethnic Russians. That first wave had spectacular success against a much larger and better equipped Ukranian military. To hope the Ukranian govt would respond reasonably to that and negotiate wasn't a mistake. Unlike Ukraine, Russia has contingency plans.

Wtf is with this guy? The Russians just knocked down 5/5 ATACMS missiles. They routinely shoot down 80% of volleys time and time again. There isn't a single NATO air to surface missile system out there that can match those numbers. Individually, and the higher you go in numbers (S400,S500), the systems are light years beyond the western systems. Their integrated air defense 'umbrella' is probably the best in the world. Can Ukraine find holes? Yeah.....obviously. They have 70 or so NATO/US/Western satellites and the entire intel network working for them, and as he said, Russia is massive. Of course some are gonna get thru. How well are those Patriots working? I'm actually kind of amazed this guy made it anywhere in the military.

If the Russians advance in Ukraine, the administration would have two choices: stay the course and increase the risk of Ukrainian losses, or shift from a “for as long as it takes” policy to an approach of “whatever the Ukrainians need to beat the Russians back.” This would potentially increase the risk of escalation with Russia, but it would also deflect the electoral risk of being blamed for the failure of US policy in Ukraine," Andrew A. The hermit tells Claudius that he can have the parchment for 100 pieces of gold. Claudius offers 50, even though he could easily afford 100. The hermit took the parchment and tore it in half and said you may have this for 200. Claudius protested "you have doubled your price, for half the parchment." The hermit took the parchment and tore it in half once again. You may have this for 400 pieces of gold holding what was now only a quarter of the original parchment. A more likely scenario is there was intelligence on activity at the airbase, planes on the apron and not in hardened shelters etc. Artillery/missile strikes can be very time-sensitive and are often launched when a target of opportunity is identified. I am not convinced the attack was necessarily aimed at the beach. Conclusive proof that Ukraine was absolutely not aiming for what they believed to be a legitimate target would seem difficult to attain without some degree of inside knowledge. I could see a situation where Ukraine chose a missile path and time for the attack where they knew interception attempts would endanger civilians. Intentional reckless endangerment of the civilians at the beach if you like. Possibly because in their view Russia had previously done so. Meanwhile even if the Russians understood this to be the case they could have concluded this explanation to be too complicated, something they could not sell to a wider audience. Daniel Davis is actually spinning this 'accident' meme? Sure, Ukatine has no history of bombing civilians huh? No markets? Chrisymas concerts? Nah, they'd NEVER bomb a beach though! Derpa!

OMG! "Over the ocean!" The nearest ocean is in France! Black sea is surrounded by land even more than Mediterranean! And to attack the air base from the sea, the missiles had to come at a different angle! There is a cape to the North where Russian air defenses must be (the Crimean peninsula is diamond-shaped), and both Ukraine and the air base are to the North from the attacked beach. If the air base was the target, the missiles had to fly over the land with air defenses, over the air base, and only then strike the beach! Just look at the Google map! The air base could not be the target, because of wrong angle and larger distance. The strike was targeted at some area in the city, in the same way as they were shelling Donetsk and Belgorod! (Well, it's been told that most Americans cannot read the maps)

Daniel Davis is such a good, likable, reasonable guy. I enjoy his show, but it’s the same old, same old. People ignore the following evidence. Military Summary Channel does a twice daily review using geolocated videos. MSC tracks progress, and factual evidence reveals that Russia struggles to take a village or small town, and that means every town they take. Mariupol and Avdeevka took months of intense struggle. The evidence is that Russia could not take Odessa. Likewise, people ignore the major star of the G7 meeting, Larry Fink. Therefore, they ignore the moneyed interests, the corporations that have raped Ukraine and robbed it of its resources. They ignore the Biolabs and do not consider the total economic picture in Ukraine. There are MONEY AND PROFITS at stake here. Finally, they assume that Ukraine will be the only proxy when Europe is becoming more warlike every day with fascists in power like von der Leyen and soon to be Kaja Kallas. There is evidence that at least some Europeans will enter the war and sacrifice their people about whom they care little or not at all. So all this evidence is ignored, including by Russia, in favor of what should be when there is conflicting evidence to the contrary. The Russian so-called war of attrition idea assumes that nothing will change, but that is likely a false assumption, so says Clausewitz. It’s just an opinion, but the only person who appears on these programs who has correctly assessed the situation, including the Russian mistakes in judgment, is Paul Craig Roberts. BTW, the Battlefield location of Azov Brigades is known. Does Russia target them specifically? No evidence of that at all.

People who have no idea about language acquisition and learning make such a big deal about the f16 instruments being in English. That is so naive and ignorant. 12 months of highly intensive english instruction in a specialised area is more than enough. I have taught English to Korean pilots for years and language instrumentation is not difficult. Pilots are very intelligent and learn quickly.

Ukraine probably doesn't have 12 months. And remember it's 12 months + the six minimum months to learn to fly the plane itself. ...

Regarding the view of Trump over the war in Ukraine and the "promises" he makes if he'd be elected, let's not forget that most of the situation there was cooked on his watch.

How do you figure? Obama tried to set up Trump with a war in Syria, but Trump was able to extract us from there. Now, under Biden has troops in Syria again. Why? Even our “allies” are attacking our bases there. No wars started under Trump’s watch. Starting wars and destabilizing countries is a democrat thing. There never would have been any of these wars under Trump. Trump will stop the war in Ukraine, but at this time he can only play the cards he has. He can not expect the Russians to give up the ethnically Russian areas in the Ukraine that Russia has captured. Putin does not want to continue war. It is to every ones advantage to stop now. Ukraine can only expect to loose more as the war continues. It is time to stop its losses now.

Agree with the Colonel. Going in to the SMO Ukraine had aviation capability far greater than a few F16s will provide. Along with air defense systems. And yet, where are they today? Zelensky is a textbook megalomaniac, who believes the power of America is behind him as he sacrifices the peoples of his nation to his false glory.😢

Blah, Blah, Blah Blah, Blah It may not be a game changer, technically, but it is clearly provocative. Kennedy didn’t appreciate ICBM’s on our doorstep. Putin is not going to appreciate this escalation on his doorstep. NATO was set up to combat USSR’s expansionism. The USSR died in 1991. There was no further need for NATO. The USSR has been replaced by the Russian Federation, a constitutional republic with a judicial, legislative, and executive branch, all under their flag of the red, white, and blue. Putin expressed how he wanted warm relations with the west. Otherwise he would have to look to China. Biden’s dismissive, derogatory response was “Good Luck”. How could anyone be so brain dead to let an opportunity like that slip away. What does a country have to do to be our friend? Take our foreign aid and the send kickbacks to the DNC, and our 3 letter agencies? To add insult to injury, we not only do not dissolve NATO, we use it to put threatening troops and war material on the Russian Federation’s border. Why are we warmongers? Is it all for the increased graft that it creates. We are clearly the bad guys.

The Colonel is wrong when he said Russia thought that by "scaring" Ukraine by means of rolling in those tanks and troops into Ukraine, Ukraine would cave in. In fact, Ukraine did by agreeing to sign this agreement in March or April of 2022. However, Boris Johnson, upon orders of DC, flew into Ukraine and told Zelensky, "Don't you dare sign that document!"

The col. said the Russian air defense is good but not perfect. As compared to what? But Larry Johnson says it is the best in the world. FWIW,. I agree with Larry here. Every pundit can be off target a bit just like a missile.

The colonel is great. He might be a bit off on a couple of things. I'm thinking of his understating of what Russia was trying to achieve at the onset of the SMO. But overall, his insights are great. Your channel is in my top five!

It is criminal on the part of Zelensky to continue with the war. Had he been a good leader he would have recognized the military situation as being hopeless, and would have negotiated an agreement. His insistence to continue with the war belies good sense. As Putin said, he is not a Slav. I think Putin is going to take Odessa. And there is nothing Ukraine could do to stop that.
