Russia is approximately 17,098,000 sq km, which means Ukraine's offensive into Kursk controlled 0.002% of Russia. Furthermore, it doesn't look like Ukraine have the resources to even maintain that amount of control simultaneous to Russia attempting to push back the bulk of said offensive into Kursk.
