Russia is working on a new modular version of the Buk air defence system amid the ongoing war with Ukraine. The makers of Buk claimed the new system can significantly enhance Russia's protection in the skies. The makers want to strip self-propelling capabilities to enhanced reconnaissance and firepower. Russia is confident that new systems can destroy the hyped ATACMS, Storm Shadows, and Taurus missiles. This report has more information.
