A new presidential election in Russia is about to take place in March 2024, and Vladimir Putin is running for president again. Recently, the Russian election got more interesting: new candidates like Yekaterina Duntsova and Boris Nadezhdin started appearing, with their main goal being to stop the war in Ukraine. These new election candidates are actually becoming pretty popular, and this is why right now Russian propaganda started working extra hard to promote Putin and smear everyone else. One of their main tactics is paying Russian TikTok influencers to spread Z propaganda. So, how bad is Russia's 2024 election propaganda? Let's talk about it. Smash like and sub for more thx xoxo

Opposition in Turkey still had way more opportunities governing Turkey than Russian opposition could only dream about. The 3 biggest cities of the country are in the hands of the opposition so there is at least an argument to be made whether you like their management or not. The thing is though the main criticism the opposition gets is fucking up the most important election of the last 20 years by picking the wrong candidate. This was the perfect chance to defeat AKP since unlike Russia the ruling party doesn't get the majority of the votes at every turn. It has been a close race in almost all of the election cycles and again opposition actually can win here.

- How much did they pay you to sell out your own country? I can answer that question my guy! I'm from Georgia and I had to defect to United States (New York), now I live here for over 7 years. I used to work for previous government (for Saakashvili) and at the end of my Political career I was a campaign manager for someone who was running for the office in Tbilisi local elections (won't specify for obvious reasons). As you might know political party "Georgian Dream" is just Russia's puppet. While I was working as a campaign manager I had to compete with Russian funded campaign and let me tell you it's nothing crazy. They know exactly what's the bare minimum to pay a person for their vote, or a bare minimum that an influencer would need to spread propaganda. In a lot of cases they wouldn't even pay people, they just promised they would. I know that because we had some informants in "Georgian Dream". What pissed me off the most was when people would vote for pro Russian party just for 2KGs of potatoes. In conclusion they pay them as little as they can, they threaten them or just promise them to pay them and then "forget" to do so when time to sign the paychecks come.

Dude, I just remembered a story from the beginning of the war. That war lost me quite a few students because, at the time, most of my students were Russians and Ukrainians. Both groups disappeared pretty suddenly, no surprise. Before that happened, though, I had this one guy. No idea what became of him. But he was dressed up warm. He had a morning lesson with me and he looked like something was up. He seemed OK. In good spirits, actually. I asked him, so, man, what's up? You have a new hobby? What are you going to do today? And he laughed, picked up an assault rife and said, Yeah, new hobby. I laughed too and asked what it was. He said that, that day, he was going out to shoot Russians, hahaha. (He was Ukrainian, obviously). I laughed too. But I never saw him again. I hope he's OK, but there's no way to know. By the way, a lot of the Russians came back, once they were comfortably relocated to here in Georgia, or Serbia, Lithuania, Spain, Cyprus, etc. None of my Ukrainians came back, but I have a fair few new Ukrainian students, so the civilians seem to be, for the most part, doing OK.

My great grandfather was killed fighting for Czar Nicholas II and his family. My great grandmother and grandmother had to leave Russia and change their names 2 times each before they felt they were safe from being killed by the Bolsheviks or the Communist Party. As they were in fact hunting all the supporters of the Romanovs down and killing them. Most of them being loosely related family. So if you had 1/10th of that bloodline in you and any one knew it, you could be killed. Whether you supported communism or not. Stalin saw to this. They hated it here. My great grandmother died speaking ill of this place. My grandmother never got used to it. They both died out of time and place. It's why I always wanted to return there for a while and meet the relatives I have there that were able to make it. So few, but they did. I never got to Russia proper but I did get as far as the inner iron curtain before it was taken down. Poland, Belarus, Ukraine. All the border areas and slav cities that were then communist. It was interesting. But it wasn't like going back to St. Petersburg.

Nemzov was a way more bona fide politician, and actually held several government posts during the Yeltsin regime in the 90-s. Navalniy is a выскочка (hard to translate from Russian) - someone who jumped from dirt into politics, while being very incompetent, and being supported by Russian teenagers who do not know s*it about politics. We will not know who killed Nemzov, but I think we realize who is behind this. As for Navalniy, Western intelligence agencies had a cause to kill him, but did not have methods. Putin had the methods, but no cause. So go and figure - did he die from natural causes, or not. We will never know until FSB archives are declassified.

it will be like this. "i didnt vote for him, my neighbours didn't, but my uncle did. he won, so most people must be like my uncle. and i am a minority." even if nobody voted for putin in first place. but there is much more to it. whoever votes against putin might get drafted earlier than others. it's digital voting right? if soviets were able to aquire that kind of data, they would never have fallen apart. then it is a question of policy support. by digital votings putin can now see how popular his war actually is and adjust. if a majority disagrees, you'll have to take actions, if they agree you can draft another term. current form of democracy is a modern perestroika. soviets tried to release pressure on civilian life. while the military dictatorship still rules the main course of the country. those two branches were meant to detatch. same same here. you have to set up loyal candidates that are not dead yet, but serve your main course. they may reform anything civilian as long as disctatorship prolongs. they are not meant for this year but putin won't stay forever.
