This video completely misses the point. The ATACMs are US military provided, US intelligence targeted, and US satellite guided. So to any rational observer, it is the United States (a nuclear power) directly attacking Russia (another nuclear power), not Ukraine. Given the ATACMs are nuclear capable, there is no way for Russia to know if they are carrying a conventional payload or a nuclear sneak attack launched from "Ukraine", therefore they said they will respond by targeting the truly responsible parties (NATO bases, US, and UK), not the idiot who pushed the button in Ukraine. The US is the one instigating, which is even more absurd when you consider no one in America knows who in the US government is in control (dementia Biden or McConnell, i don't think so)

Thanks. That was actually pretty accurate. You missed the mark there near the end. Starting up the nuclear escalation ladder, nuclear strikes at sea are a pretty good idea because you cant blow a crater in the water, hence its a good demonstration place to start a nuclear war-a "natural firebreak" to show intention without full nuclear commitment. . But where you missed the mark was was talking about radioactive "dust"(fallout ) from a sea strike. There is little dust at sea to become radioactive. The definitive work on the subject is "On Thermonuclear War" by Herman Kahn. . (AKA DR Strangelove) Its old but very informative .

@@rhensontollhouse ...and does the salt in the water goes when it's converted to steam? I don't know what isotopes might result from such intense radiation to Chlorine or Sodium, but I doubt they're benign. Other elements are present in lesser amounts, including those that make up plankton and other sea life. While it was a surface blast on a coral atoll, Castle Bravo managed to sicken the crew of Lucky Dragon 80 miles away. The total volume of coral vaporized was comparatively small and consisted largely of lighter elements such as Calcium. I feel fairly confident that the the steel and other heavier elements contained in an aircraft carrier and its support vessels would be considerably worse with respect to radioactive fallout. I'm not sure, but I also seem to recall that a lot of fish had to be discarded as contaminated.
@rhensontollhouseКүн бұрын
@ True. There would not be zero fallout. Just orders of magnitude less than a blast over land or a city. Castle Bravo. Wikipedia- “The explosion left a crater 6,500 feet (2,000 m) in diameter and 250 feet (76 m) in depth.” So CB created a huge amount, (roughly 240 million metric tons), of highly radioactive fallout, in the form of coral, plus the sea water. One of my closest friends, now 93 almost 94 yrs old and is still vigorous physically and mentally, was on the navy tanker USS Patapsco at the time. He got radiation burns and still suffers from chronic skin cancers. We joke he is nuclear powered. 😂 Fully loaded aircraft carrier weighs about 90,000 metric tons, a tiny fraction (0.04% or4/10,000) CBs 240,000,000 metric tons, albeit heavier elements.

0:43 - yes but actually no; Kihindzal is air launched version of Iskander and both have been demonstrated as able to be intercepted with success rate > 50% which, factoring in reliability ( 90-80% ) means that for single nuclear strike this isn't feasible. Same is case for Kalibr and othe rcruise missiles. In order to ensure hit Russia would have to use something more difficult to intercept (Rhubiezh or downright strategic missile), possibly along diversionary attack. Launch platform is not as relevant as missile. Tu-22M looks nice with 6 missiles, but Khindzal has never been demonstrated on Tu-22M and AS-6 could be carried max 3. 8:15 - Ukraine doesn't have nuclear aircraft carriers, Phalanx have been largely replaced by RAM or SeaRAM and usually there's escort with SM-2 misisles.

Now I will explain to you some other limitations of the new strategic bombers in relation to the old models. There is such a 1.2 megaton B83 bomb. She has a Kevlar parachute that quickly brakes the bomb. And there is a new B2 stealth bomber with a delicate sensitive fuselage coating for invisibility, a coating that should not be spoiled and must be protected. The repair will be awesome in price. And the plane should fly a good distance away from the explosion. I think you've seen the connection. Old planes are not so gentle, and they can also be fast. You can ignore the burnt fuselage and make the bomb more powerful. And B2 is forced to make a limit for itaelf.
