These Shock/Storm Troopers were the most seasoned, and veteran troops of the line who specialized in storming enemy trenches. Fun fact: Soviets did this exact same thing during World War II. After the war they promptly threw the criminals back in prison. When back, these conscripted criminals came in direct conflict with other hardened criminals in the prisons who had refused to enlist with the Soviets since it was against their Mafia code to align with the government. This led to the so called “Bitch Wars” in the Soviet prison system where the two bunch of criminals killed each other and the Soviets watched from the sidelines since they won the war and it also helped clean up the population in the prison system using the same coin.
