LCD multi-function displays, the ability in the same mission to go from air to air to air to ground and back again in the same mission. One has to ask themselves, in the history of Ariel combat with Russian Fighters and Western fighters of all types, whose planes have been shot out of the sky routinely? I'm pretty sure those were the Russian build ones. If history is any insight this will be bad for the russians. The last victory of a russian-built plane over a western fighter was during vietnam. That was a long time ago.

You don't remember the Russian aircraft's track record in Iraq do you? Pretty much anytime the f-16s flown by any Air Force in the world against russian-built fighters, the russian-built fighters have been disassembled in the sky. There is zero track record showing any victory of a russian-built plane over a western built plane since the Vietnam war. Something to consider.

No aircraft is truly Invincible however if histories an example of the possible trends, there have been only five f-16s shot down. All were due to Sam batteries. Not a single air-to-air loss. Can that be said for the Russian planes? I've seen parachutes coming out of the sky. They've been rushing.

The flight weapons simulators work wonders. That's one of the excellent training tools that the Ukrainian Pilots have had to work with. The realism is better than any video gaming system you will ever Lay Your Eyes on. They will be ready. And they're going to be mad.

@@pindapoy1596 I'm only talking about historical perspective. The F-16 has only had five losses in combat and all were due to Sam batteries. Not a single one to air-to-air combat. On the other hand every single one is gone up against has lost. In the United States fighter inventory the only place that it's even done better than the F-16 is the F-15 Eagle. It has 104 kills and zero losses. No Russian built fighter has survived combat with a western fighter since the Vietnam war. That's not my perspective that's freaking fact. You don't like it tough.

A perfect example of how aid to Ukraine really works. I'm tired of hearing "We need to spend money here, not send it to some other country." The U.S. is not sending billion dollar checks to Ukraine. These fighter jets are made in Greenville, S.C., providing well-paying jobs to Americans. Same is true for armaments, anti-aircraft systems, etc. Some older weapons are being sent as well, but their replacements are also made here, providing more manufacturing jobs.

We also re-stock the inventories of NATO countries that support Ukraine. Most U.S. Ukraine aid money never leaves the country. People are making all these comments about how inadequate the F-16 is and they don't seem to realize that there has not been a single Mig victory over any Western fighter since the Vietnam war. Every single time Russian made Fighters have gone up against Western aircraft they've lost every single time. As far as the F-16 goes there have been five combat losses, two and Yugoslavia and three in Desert Storm and all done by ground Battery Service to air systems. Not one big has ever shot down an f-16. Never came close.

You don't have to have a PhD in military arts to understand that taking over such a large city with so few soldiers is nonsense. In fact the Russians NEVER stated that they intended to occupy Kiev. That was a NATO fantasy creation spread by the media that is resolutely on the side of the governments in NATO countries. 2) If NATO/US have been slow in sending weapons to Ukr it is not because congress delayed the oeration by a few months. It is because , as the Pentagon repeatedly warned, the stocks are low and almost exhausted and production facilities are not gearing up to the challenge. Russia is still producing 3 to 4 times mores shells than the whole of US and Western Europe combined while in the whole NATO world there are only 2 old plants producing the required gunpowder. 3) If Ukr is doing so well as you seem to imply, why are you talking about a truce?
