@@Bob-t8l 3 days has become a meme, and whether Putin actually said 3 days or not is in question, but that was clearly his mindset as it is on record that he stated he could take Kyiv in two weeks. Not much difference between 3 days and 2 weeks compared to the 3 years and utter failure Putin has brought on Russia. The two week comment was from an official transcript of a conversation with EU head José Manuel Barroso. It was in 2014 when Putin was avidly denying that all the "Little Green Men" that popped up in Ukraine via helicopters from Russia were Russian soldiers and instead were "Seperatist Ukrainians" who started killing Ukrainians that weren't pro-Russian and who announced they would be holding referendums at gun point for the locals to vote to seperate. The option to remain a part of Ukraine was not even on the sham referendum 🤣🤣😂😂 While Putin was denying his Little Green Men were Russian soldiers, he stated as some kind of misguided logic that his troops could take Kyiv in two weeks if he so ordered it. This is on record and the Kremlin knew it was likely recorded, so when confronted the Kremlin itself confirmed the statement but instead focused on berating José Manuel Barroso for bringing the statement to light. Two weeks vs 3 days. You be your own judge of whether it is a reasonably accurate statement. Clearly Putin thought he could waltz right in and take Kyiv without much trouble. Going on 3 years and now having lost control of over 30 towns inside Russia he is being shown to be rather incompetent in his assessments.

Let's hope that Russia does indeed pull troops away from Chasiv Yar, also the Pokrovsk directions and that Ukraine is able to neutralize them on the way or in Kursk. The imbalance between the successes in Kursk and the lack thereof in the Donetsk region is very disturbing. Ukraine has the right to reclaim all of its territory and can then consider what to do about Kursk.
