Led by Hayat Tahrir al-Sham group rebels are now advancing towards Hama, Syria, and are only 40km away from the strategic city of Homs. Russia appears to have begun evacuating its naval forces from the Syrian port of Tartus, a strategic military base in the Mediterranean Sea.
