How many new tanks does Ukraine still get a month?
@GeorgeWashingtonLaserMusketАй бұрын
You're asking the wrong questions. The better question is, how many tanks did both start with; how many do both have now; then how many do both get on average annually and how many do they lose. Ukraine has always had FAR less tanks then Russia, but Russia is losing them at such a rate your question alone leaves a ton of context out. Remember Russia was the country with the most tanks in the world, and the most tank infrastructure in the world and soon they'll allegedly have no tanks. Of course there's still several old halls and husks of tanks Russia is going to pull from the 1950-1960's stocks they'll have to refit them entirely but the halls will save some time and it's not like Russia believe in quality, they're all about quantity exclusively and just lie about the quality. Russia is the invading force, tanks are far more important for them, and they use/lose them at a much higher rate due to that. Ukraine has plenty of manpads, drones, and mines to deal with those frankin-tanks when they start showing up. Hardware isn't the only thing that matters though you also have personnel issues. Millions fled Russia at the start of the war, when the draft was announced, and those were all the young work force people who make the babies for Russia. They fled either West or to the Stans usually (although Georgia has seen a lot of them too). Meanwhile Ukranians returned home from abroad to fight. Russia has no allies other then Iran and the DPRK and in reality they're just taking advantage of the situation being that they're already long standing enemies of the US. Ukraine has Japan, Australia, S. Korea, Taiwan, NATO, and many unaligned nations in it's corner. We can collectively continue the flow of aid indefinitely if need be meanwhile the Russian economy is eating it's self for this war. Even if I hated Ukrainians and I don't, I'd support this war for no other reason then to see the second collapse of the Russian empire in less then fifty years. Russia literally can't go a century without collapse. You had the fall of the Tzars to people without a real plan, then you had the communist take over, then the communist collapse all in a century. Russia lost WWI, and only survived WWII for the same reason Ukraine will survive today. Because they have the USA backing them with as much aid for as long as it takes.

That's assuming you're foolish enough to believe Russian numbers, so we can safely say Russia is producing a quarter of that. But lets believe the lie for a moment. How many tanks did Russia have at the start of the war? How many did Ukraine? What's their annual loss rate? Russia being the invader who doesn't care about losses but only cares about land taken has scarified almost their entire inventory of tanks; they've sacrificed all their experienced tank crews so they don't even bother trying to use any react tactics it's just "Rush the front try to not die first". Most of the tanks you are counting are refurbished old tanks, since russia's stock is running so low they're pulling tanks from the 50's to refurbish, those are what you're government consider "new" tanks. Russia went from having more tanks then anyone else in the world, to refurbishing antiques unfit to use in a war just so they can keep the meat pump running.

According to Covert Cabal, the Russians have over 2000 takes still in storage. However, most will require extensive repairs to get them battle ready. As such, they will run out in 2025. There are thousands of old Soviet and Russia tanks scattered across the globe, and I'm sure if the Russians needed tanks they will be able to get them if the price is right.
@GeorgeWashingtonLaserMusketАй бұрын
Why are you so sure? Didn't the people that bought those tanks need them for their own national security? What can Russia offer that's worth the risk of being weak enough to invade due to having a critical lack of armor? When the US/NATO etc send equipment to Ukraine that's because we're sending our old stocks we have excesses of that are being replaced with new equipment. We're literally giving Ukraine our hand me downs it's like we're giving them clothing that no longer fits us or our needs; while Russia is going around begging everyone for the shirts off the backs of their friends. The problem is if Russia and those closely aligned with you threaten sanctions it's pretty empty; but if you send military aid to Russia and we threaten sanctions, they will have a serious impact. Russia is just a gas station that used to sale weapons too, now they can't make enough to fit their needs and the ones they have/cant make are proven to be far less effective then advertised. Energy reserves are important and Russia could try to bribe others weapons for fuel but it's a hell of a gamble to accept.

I am 100% pro-Ukraine, but the claims about depleted Russian weaponry have been circulating since the end of the first year of the war. I think videos making such claims are, at best, misleading. Building tanks and other heavy military equipment isn't sustainable. When Russia precision tools come mostly from the EU. China is able to offset this to a degree, though this will create difficulties. Such that equipment may need to be changed to accommodate the tooling that available. Not an easy task on short notice. Especially when most of Russia's working age men are likely to be drafted as the war continues to expand.
