Their live shows are a sonic experience. Each of the members is extremely talented, and they pull off a much larger sound than any 3 piece band I've seen. Through use of looping by the guitarist, while the bassist plays a foot organ and bass guitar, and one of the tightest drummers you'll find, they are hard to beat live.

I discovered Russian Circles when they opened for Mastodon in 2017 at The Fillmore in Silver Spring, MD. They played a short set, BUT still blew me the fuck away! I'm ALL IN when it comes to Russian Circles! :-))

saw the mastodon/russian circles gig in Berlin. and well... imho Mastodon should have been the support fror russian circles, not the other way around.

"The singer" nope, not gonna happen. Same vein has Pelican and a few other bands. Post Metal 3 piece instrumental and easily one of my top 5 bands.

Most of the music I like does not have a vocalist . Explosions in the sky sells out arenas and they have never had a vocalist . It’s not that odd even in the rock genre. Russian circles is considered post metal.. the less metal , more spacey genre is called post rock .
