Russian court sentences reporter Evan Gershkovich to 16 years

Wall Street Journal reporter Evan Gershkovich has been convicted of espionage and sentenced to 16 years in prison by a Russian court. Russian authorities claim the American journalist was gathering secret information for the United States. The U.S. government denounced the trial as a sham and is calling for his immediate release.
