Every single one of these aircraft are carrying air to air missiles. Every missile fired we saw through HUD footage was an air to air missile. So firstly, these aircraft were not striking Ukrainian ground positions. Secondly, the Ukrainians don’t even fly enough sorties For this to be genuine footage of air combat.

No, this is an Su-34. It's the ground attack version of the Su-27 and the HUD radar is in ground attack mode. The radar locked targets are shown by the diamond shapes you can see in the lower edges of the screen when the "lock" tone sounds. The role and capabilities of this aircraft are almost identical to the F-18 Hornet and the HUD likewise is almost identical. Fly around, get a lock, IFF check and fire. You most likely won't even see the target you destroy. I can definately see KH-31 AGMs on some of the planes that took off in the innermost weapon pylons and they are not there when they land. Lots to see here if you know what to look for but I can understand why the average punter can't.

Watch the video carefully. Planes take off, under the wing of 2 air-to-air melee missiles R-73, 2 long-range air combat missiles R-77, 2 anti-radar missiles X-31p. In the video 0:56, the fighter steers to the parking lot after landing, there is no 1 x-31p missile, in the video 1:17, the fighter has only 2 R-73 missiles, in the video 1:33, the fighter used all 6 missiles. At 3:06 in the video, a fighter sits down, there are no three R-77 air-to-air missiles.

The Su-30 task is to attack the air defense system. The Su-35 task is to cover the Su-30. They could make a movie top Gun, beautiful planes, modern missiles, dogfight. There is nothing in Ukraine that requires a different approach. Russia does not distribute videos of the defeat of military equipment. What is published is immediately stolen by Ukrainian propaganda. Which, after the simplest editing, declares these planes to be Ukrainian. Half of the "victories of the Ukrainian army" is distributed by Ukrainian, including on this channel. These are victories over Ukrainians, plus a change in the video.
