All these are for Norway. They are not releasing 2 sea maps or splitting these fish into 2 sea maps. People got confused, archi was the “sea map” tester as in it was their base of building a big open water deep and whatnot. Then this big sea map was the next one. Also this map is absolutely massive with 215m depths, there is a small freshwater pond at the waterfall not sure what will be in there. Basking shark in real life gets up to 16000kg and 12m+ The porbeagle in trailer was for sure a blue tag size lol. There is the 51 species with pictures however some missing names / bad translation. This should be out within 2-3 weeks and I do think it will be level 34

So at this time, there is apparently 43 New species in this map. Not to bad out of the 51 we seen, the others may still make it in on offical release but not to sure.

I'd appreciate you creating a beginner's video on RF4. I know it's likely different than FP, just like the CoTW Angler and UFS games are. I have about 1200hrs in FP, enjoy it and I still have a lot I'd like to accomplish. But I might give RF4 a try sometime. Like any other game, I may like it or not.

Not totally convinced they're going to pursue the collectable cards, people have said thats it's been shelved...no tears shed here, it's meh. If there's stronger reels, they need to be restricted to the sea maps, otherwise they'll make a mockery of the large freshwater fish in the game. Having started a new account last November, it's definitely easier now to get going, there's more silver at low levels and the starter gear is stronger now.

I don't see a problem in it, if you can farm lets say 50-60 k currency. You can use it on everything. Its how game economic work. Resticting will never happened.

​@@KpShamino RF4 have generally been protective of the glamour freeshwater fish, hence why you cannot take a live rod from shore to boat. Restricting already happens to a degree in the fact you can't just use the strongest reels in the game for any type of fishing.

Thats True but i don't think it has anything to do with protective fish, its just to let people farm more. In real life i can fish with a spinning setup with lure, float and bottom, why not in a game.

@@KpShamino RF4 have often stated that the boat is overpowered in terms of fighting fish, so they introduce a restriction that's rather unrealistic but protects the integrity of the fight, and that sort of approach will hopefully continue. This ain't no fishing planet with bull sharks on telesticks 😄

yes i read about that to, its hard for me to belive that. The gear in this game is one of the money makers and why people farm money. It depends offcourse how much the hire price is.

@@KpShamino maybe with the ability now to unlock any map for gold, they hope to get new players to part with more to get straight in on the big action. The heavier gear is still the restricted by level for them even if they splash the cash to unlock a high level map.

I didn't know about the gold access for higher level maps. But indeed then the hire gear is more understandable for me. But then ofcourse the new question :), are they going to ask gold or normal currency for hiring the gear.

with premium leveling is much faster but i dont recomend it for the new players, cose u level up too fast and than u dont gather enough silver (ingame curency) for decent equipment, soo u are undergeared for ure level. i recomend buying premuim after lvl 30. mine opinion. i am lvl 42 atm with 3350h ingame(main acc) and 800h and lvl 36 on alt acc

well in my case nothing special i was yust bored ingame sometimes when i was carp fishing and it was slow biterate soo i make another acc to play on that same time when i was waiting on main acc to get bite. and i can test different combo of baits same time to faster find what is working and what not.

@@dreamstomper6612 I create alt accounts now and again to see how the game is for new players, it's hard to give good advice to new players when you started years ago when things were very different. Last November, or October, they made the game far easier for new players, so it was quite valuable to experience what had changed.

I mentioned it on another video, but I think the 'leaked' fish list is for 2 different sea fishing maps, as it includes some pacific species. Either way, even with just half the list in the new map, that's still a hell of a lot of awesome new species.

​@@KpShaminoI think the swordfish and pacific bluefin are for a different sea map in future. The leaked list included other 'big fighters' that we will see in Norway, such as Halibut, which are massive and very strong, the various shark species on the list, some atlantic tuna, large cod, and others.

​@@DaveTormala All we know is that a) the leaked species list included both Norway region species, and species from the opposite type of atlantic waters, so definitely not just one map. Beyond that we can only guess. It makes perfect sense that they'd release another sea map maybe 1 year after the first one though.

@B.D.E. I said all the species were on this map. Now confirmed there is actually 54 species now. The poster is on the side on building showing them all. There isn’t multiple Sea maps atm, there is another map but can’t say anything about that. Anyways 54 species is a nice surprise of the original 51 leak.

There are 2 main issues with rf4, devs are russians as is the company and the grind in the game is insane so I wouldn't recommend to donate them at this point, their position on the war is not clear. Fishing wise must admit It's the best, the rest fishing games have no chance, just arcady cartoonish mobile games for 3-year-olds.

RF4 devs are from a number of countries, the company as far as anyone outside of russia and china is fishsoft, which is a US company. Revenue to fishsoft will not go to Russia.. Besides, do you honestly think anyone in Russia can voice a negative position on the war without the real possibility of serious repercussions for themselves or their families? But yes, it can feel grindy if you;re not enjoying the game and you don't vary your fishing style to break up any repetition.

Hi KP. The only collectable cards that I know of for each water body are trophy cards. If you collect all the cards on one waterbody like example mosquito you get a medal or something which you can find under awards in status page.

No, they were floating the idea of some other "collectable cards", the designs were published a year or so ago, we were expecting them at every update but never materialised.

i like playing this game but dont really care about the new map as the price of gear is just stupid and the repair costs as well and for what u get paid for fish that u catch and the time u have to put into this is not for me so i know i will never get to fish the new map as i dont have the time to waste on this game its just not a player friendly its fixed that u have to spend money or a lot of time in game

hard to deny its a hard long term game if you want to do it for free, but many of us like games like that, the long term challenge and all that, too many games are all over and done with in weeks or a month or 2 these days, not much satisfaction or challenge in those.

There are so many things about this game that need attention that I can hardly understand a new map and gear at this point... I wish they would work more on player happiness, for example the huge massive grind at the start of the game could be made easier to achieve to make it easier for new players to join and enjoy the game. Or silver prices, which are extreme in some cases and also becomes a new player wall after Old Burg. There is so much about this game that needs attention, yet they put out new maps and gear before fixing things tons of players complain about which are serious issues. I guess I just don't get it... why work on content when the game just lost 1/2 it's player base in the last year due to devs that don't seem to care about what the players of it's game wants.

what? its been a lot easier since the new player friendly update last year, stronger gear at the start, more silver, gifts per level up to level 11. Me thinks you're working on outdated software in more than one meaning of the phrase. And lost half its' playerbase? how do you work that one out?

Do you have other issues about rf4 besides silver prices? Because often people say rf4 has many many issues, etc, but than they always mention silver prices and nothing else. Even though rf4 has become significantly easier to play accross the last years. Rf4 definetly has some bugs and kinks to work out, but there dont seem to be any crazy core issues that alot of people complain about. The mention about rf4 losing half its player base it a bit funny, because you can cleary see at steamcharts that rf4 has hit a new peak in player amounts 2 month ago, its highest ever, 12k concurrent people playing on steam alone.
