A video footage has emerged of Russian guards attempting to shoot with rifle Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles, UAVs, at an oil base in Russia. The footage circulated on a Ukrainian Telegram channel shows guards desperately attempting to down drones that were launching attacks on oil bases. However, the guards did not succeed. The incident comes amid intensified Ukrainian drone attacks on Russian territory targeting oil refineries and terminals in an attempt to weaken Russia’s war machine. In the latest of such attacks, Ukrainian drones attacked an oil depot in the Tsimlyansky district in Russia’s southeastern Rostov region in the early hours of Saturday. The oil depot caught fire as a result of the attack that was the latest long-range Ukrainian strike on Russia’s Rostov region. Since the start of the year, Ukrainian drones have attacked over fifteen Russian refineries and several oil depots, which has also involved attacks on major steel plants. Ukraine argues it is targeting Russia’s energy sector because Western sanctions have had only limited impact on Russian economy.

Agree that its a drone jammer rather than a standard rifle. Also drone jammers do work and bring down drones but if you are standing in the middle of a huge oil storage area and drone is already on the way down chances are it still going to hit something important.

@@atticusfredericks6210 That is for sure also a possibility, but really the algorithm should be able to account for bulling and not least by bots that should also be fairly easy to identify.But i also get post vanishing in threads not at all related to the situation in Ukraine, actually also in a language most but the 6 mill PPL here do not understand. I for sure do not have a high level of respect for google. hell i get random lines from fairytales deleted and that for sure do not violate any youtube rule. Also if i did violate rules i would assume i would get some kind of warning, i have never gotten just 1 warning from youtube.

@@pliashmuldba Nor have I on the warnings. I began to notice the case of the disappearing posts speeded up the last six months or so ago. At times, I'll repeat a missing response and it goes through. I'm quite sure though Russia bots often pull the "report" trigger on me (none of which violate youtube's stated posting rules) and they disappear. I've never returned the favor because I'm a strong believer in freedom of speech even though others may violate. In fairness, some of the Ru bots have complained about posts that disappear , so perhaps some get the same treatment.
