Russian Helmet Collection Part 1

Awesome helmets, I have a 2 Russian SSh 40s, the 1st is a WW2 Russian shell that was refurbished in 1948, the 2nd is a post war shell made in Stalingrad and sent to Ukraine in 1957, it was in storage until I bought of ebay for $20 in 2019.

Thanks! That's cool, yeah it surprises me that the Russians had helmets that were unused for 40-60 years and never melted down or anything, just sat there, but I've seen several of them like you describe. If I'm not mistaken I've even seen a few used in the current Ukraine war!
