Some places need adjustments. The official account of a brigade defending the last positions of kurakhove said they have already left on the new years eve and there is other evidence. Also the coalmine above chevchenko was captured around 2 days ago a geolocation was found with a russian soldiers moving trough the trenches of the coal mine.

Well depends how you view "nothing" is Donezk oblast nothing? if russia can take during 2025 1000km2 every 2 months they would take 6000km2 of donezk by the end of 2025. Now keep in mind that Ukraine ROUGHLY holds 8500 km2 of donezk that would apply that russia have a pretty realistic chance if they slighly ramp up their offsensive (specially in this coming summer) that they could take controll of ALL of donezk and ALL of luhansk by the end of 2025. With that they could just "freeze" the contact line and stay in a "forever war" with Ukraine were neither side makes any gains but because ukraine is still at war with russia they cant join NATO under articel 10. Seems pretty smart to me if they can pull it off
