Sir Bobby was my father's sparring partner way back in their younger years in Cebu City, Philippines. It was during their prime that they used to attend a tournament. Him and my father as well as their club members always outduels their opponents. Hope they'll meet again. Now my father is severely sick. But he still reminisce this precious memories shared to his sons & grand sons.

Lalo na nung unang panahon ginagamit yan panglaban sa mga kalabang tribu or sa mga mananakop na dayuhan. Kaya isa sya sa mga effective martial arts to kill. Kaya itinuturo yan sa mga sundalo or sa mga elite soldier kahit sa mga taga ibang bansa kc effective yan. Pero ginagamit din yang FMA sa mga ibang Hollywood movie stunts tulad sa John Wick/300/captain america/Jason Bourne/ at marami pang iba lalo na pag dating sa Weapon like Knife/Machete/Stick/Baton at iba pa..

FMA Kali arts has only one true purpose “to kill” that’s why its not allowed to teach it commercially,. Kali arts is secretly pass down generation to generation from family to family, its a dangerous form of martial arts Kali is not a sports like martial arts, if GM bobby teaches you,. With his friends that is also GM in kali, specially in balintawak your earned their respect to become a guru! Congrats and be responsible for this beautiful deadly martial arts

Since early 2000 ay tinuturo na yan sa PE class sa ilang universities at colleges sa Cebu. Makikita mo nalang ang mga istudyante na kasabayan mo sa jeep, ferry boat, sa mga mall at naglalakad ay may mga nakasabit sa kanilang balikat na parang mga engineering student, yun pala stick ng arnis ang laman nun.

I'm no martial art practitioner or anything....but wow !...these ultra quick blocks and thrusts are sure mesmerising to watch !! Almost like superpower ability. And in 5:55 the grandmaster can even turn to smile at the camera but his hands all the while are still blocking and attacking his opponent effortlessly. Its like he's on auto pilot or sumting. Oh my that sure is on a totally different level of skill. Respect !

This martial art will be extremely useful in today’s world; especially in the US nowadays. This is the future martial art because it is designed for real combat, and it provides offense and defense simultaneously. I will have my grandchildren take lessons if there is class available in our city.

I remember this art was being taught to us during our primary years and we simply considered this a play. Sadly this art is slowly disappearing in our culture. I am really amazed and glad that this Filipinor Martial Art is being promoted and surprisingly by foreigners.

Villabrille - Largusa Kali is a combat proven martial art that spans many generations. From the time before the Spanish invasion of the Visayas, to only a few years ago, Kali was a closely guarded secret that was passed on from teacher to student and father to son. Only the students deemed loyal were taught the art and it was never taught to non-Visayan.

This is great, looks good and I hope a lot will be taught to lots of people.. BTW can someone explain to me why is the fight simulation/drill performed at close range? Stick weapon could be more effective mid-range right? I don't know any martial arts that's why I don't understand..

Every filipino parents is a Kali Master's.. all Mom's are stick specialist, and all Dad's are black belts.. filipino parent's dominates martial arts in our country.. and they have lots of weapons to choose from and moves how to strike. (1st. the Flying Slipper attack! that move is a silent killer, will hit you but never notice where it came from.. 2nd the Broom and Tingting attack! this weapon and attack is so deadly, once this weapons hits you i will leave some bruises on you skin.. and lastly the waiving black belt weapon. this weapon is a the one i feared the most, cause this weapon can hit you in any angles, (Left, Right, Front and Back) and you cant evade it no matter how hard you try.. :D
