Named from the time when Russians were using it as a market in the early 1990’s, you will no longer find Russians, or Russian goods. What you will find is a large variety of goods a services that come at a great price. And when we say variety, we mean the difference between motorcycle parts and beauty salons.

I will be in Phnom Penh for a week soon before heading north. Do you think having a pool is important in a hotel? I am trying to find good deals and not break the bank and also have relaxing time. Thanks.

Good question. There's no beach near by except the river, which we wouldn't recommend swimming in. A pool might be good, but there are plenty of other relaxation options. If you like the water like we do, get a pool.

Good question. It is a city. So there is traffic, but it's better than some larger ones we"ve been to. We would recommend it if it's a matter of pros and cons. Plus, we think you'll have a great time here.
