The hospital really was hit -- by a Russian cruise missile Х-101. Ukraine shot down 30 of the 38 various missiles launched today at different cities -- this was one of those, that got through. Specifically related to Dmitry Polyanskiy - First deputy permanent representative of Russia to the UN. You are likely to be a Russian propaganda Bot and I probably shouldn’t waste my breath on you except for the fact that what you’re speaking is not just misinformation but post-truth ideology… which is very dangerous to the minds of your average Joe and I care about these people very deeply. So… We have video footage showing the silhouettes of the missile that struck, which can be compared to the known characteristics of missiles to understand what hit at what location. It can clearly be seen that the missile had a wing position that lines up with the cruise missile, as well as the same, prominent tail piece. We can also see the drop-down turbofan jet engine, a distinctive part that’s on the bottom of a Kh 101-102 cruise missiles. That last part is completely missing from all air defense missiles, which use inboard rocket motors for propulsion. The drop-down turbine engine also admits a distinctive jet engine sound that experienced observers are familiar with - there are recordings with sound of the missile strikes… so yes, we have visual evidence of the missile prior to strike and audio evidence prior to strike that is conclusive of the Kh 101-102 missile variant. Not only that, but the missile’s remnants have been found which have serial numbers that identify to known parts in there manual’s such as the cover to that distinctive drop-down turbine engine, as well as other pieces. These missile remnants eventually got Geo-located to evidence found at that very building so we know that Ukraine is not fabricating anything. Thus… A Kh 101 missile did indeed Strike the Children’s Hospital killing at least 43 people and counting, in total 38 missiles were fired at Ukraine within that same missile salvo, 30 we’re successfully shot down, but 8 got through and struck their intended targets. One hitting the Children’s Hospital, others hitting residential buildings - civilians - no combatants. None of this is OK, and every one of these strikes is a war crime and it’s happening day after day. The attacks on the civilians, including the targeted attacks on children specifically are more than enough reason to give Ukraine every weapon it needs to defend itself. These attacks need to stop, and Russia is not going to stop targeting children until this war is over… because of this Russia needs to be totally defeated and made an example of. Period. FYI, I am a registered Republican and not just some lefty. All of American is outraged and we have every reason to do more so keep it up Russia - see what happens when we get united on this issue.

It would've been so easy for Ukraine's allies to prevent most of Russia's atrocities and war crimes. And it is still easy to prevent most of them going forward. With only a tiny bit more courage (or a tiny bit less cowardice), the allies need only establish and abide by a rule that the amount and type of weapons they give Ukraine -- and the restrictions they place on how and where Ukraine can use them -- depends directly on whether or not Russia fights the war with some honor and basic decency. The truth is that Russia hits massively with missiles every few days. Almost all of the strikes were carried out either on military plants, or on the military, or on the energy infrastructure of Ukraine. 3-4 other missiles hit the Artyom military plant in the city center. It is this smoke that is visible in the background, that's why some people started recording videos. This missile landed not on the main building of a hospital, but ~50 meters from the building of the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine. If it had been a deliberate attack on the hospital, there would have been ten times more victims at least.
