Russian News Reel: SOVIET HEROISM

(8 Oct 1942) The Soviet submarine which scored hits of the "Tirpitz" has arrived back in port and its commander, Nicholas Loonin, was made a "Hero of the Soviet Union". In the Battle of the River Don the Soviet's fought heroically to repel the Germans.

Amazing how much our sentimentalities towards the CCCP(Soviet Union) changed in the matter of a rather short decade or two.. they went from being our ''heroic communist allies with an unmatched resolve,'' to becoming a ''diabolical pinko commie regime hellbent on the utter annihilation of the opulent western hedonist lifestyle.'' It's like watching two best-friends have an irreperable fallout after sharing and enjoying years of prosperity together... the dissolving of our ties with them is one of the great historical tragedies of the 20th century IMO. imagine where society would be technologically & geopolitically if the entire east/west factioneering from the post-ww2 cold war had never happened

They were right to hate them. But they stopped them too late. You see facism and nazism were my design not made to last forever. Something it’s leaders deeply neglected. If they were to succeed they would no doubt immediately dissolve quietly with beauracratic nothingess not long after. Unironically making it serve the purpose of socialism better than the original blueprints the commies however were wiser,and far more wicked in the regulation department. They were easily able to wince out money and help whenever they needed to in disguise of the party. And we let them trick us.
