This is the first episode of our Comprehensible Russian Podcast! Today I'm going to talk about myself, this Russian podcast and its idea. I hope you'll enjoy the show! :)

This podcast is for learning Russian for A2-B1 students (approximately). My goal is to get you involved in the Russian language through interesting, fun, educational, and controversial topics. I speak clear and slow, explaining words in Russian to build your strong Russian foundation and help you on your way to understand real Russian (TV-shows, movies, podcasts, etc).
P.S. Many episodes were recorded years ago and, of course, some of my views to certain things has changed since then. Do not be surprized:)

Excellent, I actually understand it :-) I am in my sixties and promised myself to learn a few new languages now that I am retired. I already mastered more or less 8 languages but a couple of years ago I started with Russian, Greek en Romanian on Duolingo and that works well to start with but what then....so I was very glad to find your videos. Russian is really one of my favorite languages and that is also thanks to your videos (and Russian from afar as well).

Comprehensible content is a very good idea, and very useful. I'm at a level where I start to recognize quite some words, but I keep on forgetting their meaning. I appreciate that it is on KZbin now because it is the only social media platform I use.

Hello Max. I'm from Guayaquil, Ecuador in South America. Thnak you for this podcast. Here there are no schools or universities to learn Russian...🤷‍♂️. Why do i want to learn russian? Just because i like it. To put it this way...i would rather learn russian than german or mandarin.

Do you know any good russian movies. My dad didn't teach me Serbian, so I had to learn it on my own in order to talk to my father's side of the family. I found that the best way is to watch movies and listen to music, since serbian is similar to slovenian... I have a filling it rhe same for russian

恭喜你, 你的中文说得很标准! 👍 Для меня, ты слишком медленно говоришь по-русски, поэтому звучит немного неестественным. И я думаю, что после прослушивания посткаста было бы полезным дать задание, которое не только проверяет общее или детальное понимание (поскольку у нас есть возможность прослушивать этот посткаст несколько раз для выполнения задания), но и заставляет нас повторно использовать словарный запас и выражения, которые ты сам использовал.
