Hey there. Thank you for sharing. It's important to hear what these soldiers have to say. Do you think you could keep the original sound as an alternate audio and add subtitles with the English translation? I find it very difficult to follow the dubbed audio. Maybe it's just me. Cheers, from Porutgal.

I can not imagine to let my son go such an injust, atrocious war. I'd rather offer myself instead. I know, that the russian regime silenced the initiatives of mothers of russian soldiers. Funny how none of the captured soldiers actually killed anyone. Maybe they just mean hand-to-hand combat, because thousands of Ukrainian heroes have been killed by someone. This strategy of not drafting people from Moscow and St, Petersburg is a good one. They won't feel the need to revolt, and the people from all the distant, separated places can't organize. Glory to Ukraine! Glory to the heroes!

@@barbarakauppi9915 it probably isn't delusion, 1 Ukrainian probably don't put out there those who actually were involved in direct confrontations and killed people. They probably vet them first. 1 dead is too many. These are young boys and men, forced by an Authoritarian regime to fight or be shot in the back by their own "Motherland". But as usual the gutless US stands back and waits, like they did in WWII, they tie the Ukranians hands behind their backs by failing to provide the right arms and supplies and some are even saying they shouldn't keep funding and/or assisting the Ukranians. This coming from a country who needed help from the French to fight their own civil war against the English. This isn't a fight between countries, this is one man with an overstretched ego, forcing his ideals upon his citizens and forcing them to kill their own relatives, blood and common neighbour. Yes, glory to Ukraine, but the fact the US and the world, including my spineless weakling of a politicial leader, can sit back and watch children and women be murdered en masse is disgraceful. We as Westerners should hang our head in shame at leaving 16 year old girls to fight a war to protect OUR freedom.

This soldiers testimony bears out what the statistics have been saying for over a year. September 6th 2023. A prolonged war might be OK for Russians living in Moscow, St Petersberg, etc who have had only 120 conscripts per 10,000 of the city population conscripted to fight. But in the poorer less educated agricultural areas to the south and east of the major cities they have had conscripted 750 - 1000 (south) to 1250-1500 (East, Far East) out of 10,000 of their population, sent to war. It seems the city elites will be OK, but those other poorer folk are going to die in large numbers, to keep the elites safe.

THERE IS NO WAR, so these are not POW. Most of these men aren't even considered as on the front by the "Institutions" of "Russia" so discussion of POW treatment is undue.

He remembers very well. How does he speak so certainly, month by month, of the past year? How does he remember days of the month and lengths of time so well? How does he remember days of the month so well, and details of what happened to him and those around him? There are just so many instances of him remembering dates and details, it seems very unusual.

Most of the prisoner interviews are like that even on other channels. I remember events, but unless something really important happened on a given day, I don't remember the dates like so many of these Europeans do.

Just because you have terrible memory and live your life on autopilot doesn't have mean that everybody else does the same. Take notes. A journal is literally the cheapest way to augment yourself and reduce your deficiencies.

So sad to listen to all he went through; and all the soldiers who lost their lives. God bless this very strong soldier; he had no choice.
