“The impact would be absolutely massive.”
A Russian ship containing ten times more fertiliser than what caused the apocalyptic 2020 Beirut blast, has broken down in Kent after taking a “very strange and suspicious” route, says associate at ThinkEuropa Jacob Kaarsbo.

During the cold war period, there was a Soviet fishing trawler that mysteriously broke down at Tilbury on the Thames. It was there for years😂 more aerials than broadcasting house. Not at alll suspicious. Russia is and had always been paranoid

Just because you're paranoid, it doesn't mean that people aren't out to get you. Twice in the last century Russia was almost destroyed by armies invading through Ukraine. They haven't forgotten that, even if you have. And now a hostile and aggressive military alliance is on Russia's doorstep in the Ukraine. They've told us again and again to back off. Maybe we should.

It's been loitering around for weeks, trying to dock in ports that just happen to have critical energy infrastructure. There's enough fertiliser onboard that ship to make the Beirut explosion seem tiny in comparison. Why isn't it heading back to Russia, where it picked up the cargo?

Peter Hald, who is an expert in explosives, says there is no imminent danger. "It is not the case that if the ship bumps into something or someone drops something into the cargo, it will explode. The ammonium nitrate that in 2020 was in a warehouse at the port of Beirut actually burned for a long time without exploding. It was only when other things in the warehouse started blowing up that the big explosion was set off. But ammonium nitrate, which is primarily used for two things - fertilizer and explosives - is not to be trifled with. If you heat up ammonium nitrate enough, it can explode. And it explodes with approximately half the power of TNT", he says.

Message that old cargo ships could transfer tanks and armoured vehicles and Russian "storm troopers" on bikes as Ukraine and hit key targets in Europe quickly. Reason why the British Army is far too small and has way too few tanks in this modern world. The UK has vunerablity, simply look what a small troop force and 300 tanks did in Malayasia and Singapore. The UK also needs proper.drone and missiles defences.
