This video reminds me of my visits, at the end of the Cold War, to several Russian museums which dealt with the Great Patriotic War 1941-45. Soviet weapons were clearly inferior to German weapons. But the Soviets largely dominated the Germans mainly using their numerical advantages and the Germans' supply and maintenance difficulties. At that time I had just left the Canadian armed forces and Soviet equipment gave me the same impression. Inferior to NATO equipment, but much easier to repair on the battlefield. To defeat Russia, Ukraine needs massive and proven support in weapons and training from the West.

1:33 this has nothing to do with low quality, fire is always a problem in any tank. the thing is two udssr nations fighting with each other so they know the weak points. if two countrys who use the leopard 2 fight against each other this would be a similar situation. if a tank burning and you cant extinguish it immediately you cant do anything about it, it will burn down and may explode if ammunition is nearby. tanks are very flammable with its hundreds if km of kable in it. if only the engine burns no big deal it is repairable but anything else big problem.

7:10 theres no ammunition explosion at all. It´s just the smoke grenades on the tank that explode ... 1:34 it has nothing to do with the build quality of russian tanks but more with it´s design. Especially the widely used autoloader and thus the position of ammunition storage... Most western build tanks store there ammunition inside the turret in closed compartements. A direct hit would set of the ammunition, disabling the tank, but the crew would likely survive. Due to the autoloader on most russian tanks, the crew literally sits on the ammunition... considering this you know something about priorities (crew survivability) of western and russian tank design ideologies.

Secondariamente tutte le strade e comunicazioni dalla russia verso Ucraina , dustrutte giornalmente per rallentare la loro avanzata.
