I had a great few days there. Lots of people in my telegram group were also telling me places i needed to visit in the city area. It really was a nice store. Not everything great about food stores are only in Moscow, as this shop proves.

What an incredible shop. I love how green and clearly very fresh their vegetables look and that rich red water melon just made me want to drink something refreshing. I can honestly say I never get such variety and range of products anywhere in London even in the most expensive and exclusive shops such as Harrods and Whole Food Market. These shops are ultra-expensive in London but they don't offer the quality and range shown in this video. I wish there was a store like this in London.

For us, such stores are a common thing, even in residential areas, small Pyaterochkas always have a great selection of goods, not to mention large supermarkets, of which there are quite a few in Yekaterinburg. An incredible supermarket! I always find it nice to see that there are still the butchery and fish counters for the fresh produce. I think now that by far the majority of supermarkets in the UK have closed them, simply to cut costs.

Живу в Центре рядом с этим магазином. Мне уже кажется привычным. Удобно, когда надо детям к школе завтрак приготовить. Идешь чуть не в пижаме за яйцами и свежим молоком😂 "Гипербол" так-то две (в Гринвиче и в Пассаже) в Екб, но может и е😊ще где есть уже.

It's nice that the cashier workers are able to work and be seated down. I don't understand why most places require that job to be standing up. You can do the job either way but sitting down will not be as physically taxing to the body.

There is a wonderful Geological Museum (opposite the Circus) in Ekaterinburg and if you like different styles of architecture Ekaterinburg is the capital of сonstructivism with a great number of buildings.

I used to live next to this store and constantly went there to buy waffle rolls. They are very tasty there, almost the same as my mother bakes, with whom we now live very far from each other. Recently, my mother gave me her old Soviet electric waffle iron, in which she baked her tubes for 40 years. It is only in this electric waffle iron that such incomparable tubes are obtained. Now I can bake them for myself and I am very happy :)

A little remark, this is one of the most expensive and top quality supermarkets located in the city downtown, for pretty wealthy people, so it's not common. The more common and good supermarkets are Lenta, Perekrestok, they are nice too.

funny. this is not a store for some special people, it’s just very large, and there is more choice there, in addition to ordinary vegetables, you can find all sorts of rarities, raspberries in the middle of winter, pea pods, etc. but this does not mean that you cannot buy the most ordinary ones there groceries XD Of course, people who live in residential areas won’t bring bags of groceries from the center; it’s easier to buy food in their area or order delivery. It’s in the USA that there are organic stores where everything is more expensive than in regular supermarkets

Hey there Russell! My hubby introduced me to your videos, he’s been watching you religiously for a couple of years now 😅 We are both from Yekaterinburg. Imagine how excited he was to show me this video! I used to work in Grinwich Mall for 6 years, and I almost everyday I bought food and drinks in Giperbola. I honestly miss those days because the food there was quite tasty and the stuff was always welcoming. But it’s definitely not a regular supermarket - I would say people with higher salaries shop there regularly. The other ones would be workers of the mall and students too, but only because the dorm is literally right next to the mall. But anyway, great video! Thanks for sharing! For me it was like a blast from the past, my last visit to this place was literally my last day of work.

New Zealand supermarkets are so bad and low standard compared to this. One of the supermarkets was even on TV because they had an issue with rats in their butchery department. Yesterday I saw flies in their 'pantry' section where you are supposed to get things like nuts, dates, protein etc... by weight.

The fact is that Hyperbola is a fairly high-end store. We have small common supermarkets near every house, and there you can see not only flies, but also mold on vegetables or cheeses (and it's not a kind of "noble" mold), for example. So bad things happen everywhere. =)
