Every old school house in the Russian village has The "Russian oven" (yes, it's called "Russian oven") in the kitchen for cooking and heating the house. This is a Wonder Oven with the stove in my case can cook anything! You can also sleep on it in the cold winter nights (on the bigger versions like I had before for example). Cats LOVE to sleep on top of Russian oven.

Nice memories of my childhood and interesting to watch 🙂. Last time I saw someone (my grandparents) using one of these ovens was decades ago. Not only cats love to sleep on top of Russian ovens. So did strong Wanja for 7 years, as told in a Russian fairytale. So is it right Sergey’s message is he loves the rural meals in the village over Big Tasty at McDonalds? 😅 Best regards to your one tomato 😂.

Your friend Konstantin (inside Russia) is getting into some problems with the West: recently accounting for the war and nuclear threat as "collective responsibiity". It's generated a backlash from his followers. I always suspected him to be a stooge. I was shocked to find you sharing a forum with him kzbin.info/www/bejne/Y2GYknqelN2pec0. I really hope you are not part of the same 'system' as him. You did look uncomfortable in the video, I'll give you that. I remain hopeful that you are just a funny guy making the odd buck, whilst showing more or less correct Russia. I hope so anyway.

Sergey- Greetomgs from Argentina. I found your video, just because I Wanted to know from the orgins (of russian people) about Russian Ovens (Here in Argentina, in Patagonia, these stoves are used for Cooking,, to Warm Water, and also to Heat the house). In Farms, and slumming places it was a solution, because you can frie any kind of wood and it's enought (No need to use hard wood). Just a tip related to tomatoes.... Here we use to cover them with a plastic bottle (such as a circus to keep them warm while they are growing up). but about tomatoes, you need always to do 2 things to get nice tomatoes. first (when it reaches 20 cms, and there are 4 leaves, you need to take off the 2 lower (the 2 first leaves). Then, while he tree is growing up after 20 cms, you need to stick a stick into the ground vertically up and then to tie the tomato stem to the stick you stuck into the ground to keep it as far as possible of the ground (a 1 to 2 mts stick its enought). Tomatoes gives a flower at 25-30 C, and you can "auto" polinize just using your fingers "Closing the yellow flower (or using a cotton hyssop or aspergillum (or just a bit of cotton) Yout video explained to me a lot!.

Love this!! Thanks for explaining!! I’ve been looking for the oldest cook stoves that have no chimney through the roof. The ones with beds around them. I read where it doesn’t take much wood because radiant heat will heat the whole place quickly an the wood burns a longer time. It said somehow the stoves filters the smoke inside the oven forcing the smoke upward in a zigzag pattern it eventually turns the harmful smoke to vapor then water. Masonry stove? Or maybe some were tile? I’d love to build one

2:45 Your tomato plant need to have a stick to keep the tomato plant upright. If you don't do that, the tomato will roth on the ground and the tomato will also produce way less tomato because the plant will focus his energy to fight the mould on the earth that attack the tomato leaves. Also the yellow leaves on your tomato plant is due to lack of water. You need to water your plant each day and the tomato and other plants need calcium. When you eat eggs, you keep your eggs shell and let it dry for 4 days and then your crush the dry egg shell and put the rest on your carden. I might add, you can book youe surplus of egg shell to create calcium carbonate and make roman cement.

@@CrazyRussianSergey You can delay 1 day for the stick, but in summer, you need to water each day. If you can find earth worm, you need to put in your garden you increase the oxygen in the soil. Worms create tunnels and bring oxygen to the plants root. Chicken manure is a good way to make your plant growing faster, but you need to have earth worm with this fertilizer because in this manure you have a lot of bacteria that proliferate without oxygen and make your soil acid. Acid soil is good for blueberry, but not for tomato. I have a garden since 2012. I did a lot of experiments.

Putting ash in the plant beds is good. I do the same. Some manure would be good as well, maybe you can ask someone around that has animals to give you some? anyway, that land looks good, looks like fluffy, dark land. Usually the land next to rivers and lakes is good. Get some turnips and beets, beets like that weather, and they are very nutritive and also great medicine. The green is also good to eat. Keep up the good work! This vid is making me hungry, LOL, but it's to late to go put anything in my stomach now, LOL! Cats are smart. If i was to spend a winter in that place i might mount a bunk on the top of the oven or next to it. Or maybe build a tent next to it. I watched a documentary about Siberian nomads once and one way they protected themselves from the cold was to build a tent inside the bigger tent.
